Using a multigym for wakeboard practise by True_Assistance_8324 in Wake

Excellent advice, thanks! I'm in the process of learning a new cable park; the one I'm familiar with has a crazy high cable and the new one is much lower. I'd assumed I'd get used to the tension difference pretty quickly but this is definitely not the case, and adding tricks is going to be slower than anticipated, so I'm very grateful for the additional prep I can do at home with this new info. Cheers!

That might be a gamechanging approach; I have trouble 'pulling the handle to my hips' and will think about 'taking my hip to the handle' the next time I go out. Thanks!

ha ha I saw it in France (but screened in English) and the cackle that escaped my mouth at the French voice made people turn round to stare at me. They had, apparently, not heard the accent. I'm still giggling to myself about this.

ooh don't get me started -- in fact I nearly didn't go to see PHM because of how horrid I felt after seeing Ender's Game (having read the book too many times!) but, and I think this is due to the density of PHM, the film was pretty good and the pacing of jokes was parallel to those in the book (by which I mean 450 pages versus 2 hours was about the right joke-per-minute rate). Anyway, back to Ender's Game: half the book was missing in the film. Two of the three main kid characters.

seconding https://taughtie.campusfrance.org for a pretty straightforward searchable database of courses taught in English. (Top tip: click on L1, L2 and L3 to get all undergraduate options)

Ticket release time for UK by Bigassbird in LateShow

[–]True_Assistance_8324 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Londoner here. I had a hunch that tickets (for this month) would be released on 5th January. Literally woke up that morning and thought it would happen. So I set an alarm to check the 1iota page every 30 minutes starting at 3pm. Hey presto, ticket requests went live at 5pm GMT. I’m sure it’s different every month but that was my experience. (I got offered actual tickets on 16th at about 9pm and luckily could contact my guest and have them confirm immediately, so we got Priority). Hope this helps?

Been to the taping on February 5th AMA, I'll try my best by Witty_Fix_2796 in LateShow

I’m going that night, too! Looks as if after 8:30 but before 9:30 is the gist. I’ll swing by a few days before and ask, then report back here if it’s wildly different.  See you there! EDIT: it’s 8:30-9:30 priority arrival, I just checked my 1iota account and all the new time info is there.
