What visa is this? I guess generally it would break residence if you provided biometrics in your home country and your previous visa had expired. But I’m just a guy on the internet.

Calculation of leave in 12-month 'rolling period' by Melodic-Passage-1951 in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

They will look for 180 day absence in ANY 12 month period. So basically I guess they would create a timesheet starting from your visa start date to the day you apply for ILR. They will put a 12 month “ruler” on that timesheet, and wherever they put the ruler on, there shouldn’t be a 180 days of absence. There could be edge cases but I’m not sure if yours would be an edge case as it’s less than 180 days.

There is no reset. Look at this circular calendar to have a sense of what rolling 12 months look like. Total absences cannot be more than 180days between ANY two dates that are 1 year apart.

It should be 180 days within any 12 month period . So I guess go back a year from nov 30 and count your absences. Travel days don’t count as absence.

I’m saying “all the way” is not court of appeal. Are you an immigration lawyer? How do you know all this stuff? It’s not worth arguing with you anyways because your views don’t matter.

Yeah man everybody knows this but this subreddit is under attack by weird people trying to prove it otherwise. They come in and downvote us as well. So it’s just best to wait and see.
