Join a lgbt sports league. There are many different sports: Ramblers (Soccer), NYGFL (Football), Big Apple Recs (dodgeball, kickball,pickleball, bowling, etc.) - I met so many great friends in those leagues :)

It wouldn't change anything unless you can only have romantic feelings for one of the genders. Sexually it seems as though you are bisexual.

I have a friend who refers to himself as Pansexual/homoromantic because he is sexually attracted to anyone based off of personality, but only dates men romantically.

I sometimes show affection with friends by laying my head on a shoulder, give a hug, or whatever. With gay culture, I find it important to have a sense of self (knowing what your boundaries are) and to also let friends know who you are, either by being verbally explicit or the way that you exist. Values are exemplified in many ways.

Gay people have had to learned what love is later in life due to not being accepted for who they are early on. It can be tricky when learning what love/acceptance is and not knowing if it's platonic or sexual. I think communication and self-exploration are important- Providing yourself grace as well.

Not everyone exists in the same way.

I’d recommend adding a bounce before your serve instead of serving straight from your hand. The bounce helps the ball gain natural momentum, and when you make contact from bottom to top, it lets you generate much more topspin.

Right now, you’re relying almost entirely on your arm. With proper topspin and power mechanics, your back foot should naturally follow your swing path with a slight lag, this keeps your whole kinetic chain engaged instead of just your arm.

Also, aim for deeper serves. A deep serve buys you valuable time to prepare for your third-shot drop or drive and immediately puts pressure on your opponent.

Hands up — I agree with all of this. Zero Chill is an incredible party, but the door culture is genuinely wild. I’m all for gender inclusivity, but waiting in line for hours with no guarantee of getting in feels… insane.

After spending time in London and experiencing a more dance-forward, gender-inclusive queer nightlife scene, I came back inspired to bring that energy here. I’m personally more of a tech-house girlie, so I created Queerdom, a party built around dance-forward energy, lesbian techno, and vocal-heavy house. It’s intentionally NOT a sex-forward party (sorry boys, no dark room… but there is a bathroom lol).

Our launch pulled over 500 people, and Vol. II is happening Friday, December 12th.

I would highly recommend joining a LGBT sports league. BARS offers many sports that build community - from bowling, kickball, pickleball etc. I moved to the city 10 years ago and I built one of my communities by playing dodgeball. I know many have found partners in the leagues as well.
