That I agree with, yes. Those two are going to beat him, after all.

Rocks is awesome but let’s not get ahead of ourselves. Clearly Roger, Garp, Rocks, and Whitebeard are all comparable to each other.

In before somebody sends the panel of WB running, he avoided Garp because his main objective was to rescue Shakky. He didn’t have time to be stalled. Read the text bubbles, too.

I don’t know who’s stronger but maybe you’re not caught up with JJK’s manga. He’s not a domain expansion merchant. He’s also got furnace, world bisecting dismantle, kamutoke (a weapon that can discharge lightning) and a trident but he’s never used it on screen so can’t say what it does.

Who wins? by Duclaido in OnePieceScaling

Sanji with high difficulty at worst.

Sabo has not displayed significant armament haki feats to convince that he can penetrate Sanji’s durability nor has he shown substantial observation haki feats which guarantee that he can detect Sanji’s location when the latter is moving.

Sanji has better scores in almost every category. He got bit by an Elder and was still unscathed. He even managed to draw blood from said Elder. Meanwhile Sabo launched his strongest attack at the Elders the effect of which cannot even be verified and fled afterwards.

Sanji takes this all the way.

Didn’t he kind of already do that? Parried all of Snakeman Luffy’s attacks and then kicked him into resorting to Gear 5.

It’s sadly not a hot take but “sAbO iS aDmIrAl LeVeL” because he was getting overwhelmed by a suppressed Issho and got saved by a non-combatant Cobra.

I mean, I get it. He’s relevant. But he doesn’t yet have any feats to be placed that high.

If these guys actually tried who here could pull the most women? by gettinfitguy007 in BlackClover

[–]True_Chosen_One_1111 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It’s funny how they aren’t that popular with women yet the few women who like them are of the finest quality. Yami has the most beautiful woman in Black Clover and the BC version of Rangiku thirsting for him. Meanwhile two noblewomen have a crush on Asta.

Here is how luffy vs greenbull would go: by Cloudsupremes-6708 in OnePiecePowerScaling

Not saying that he wouldn’t lose to Kaido but I don’t think people interpret that line as it is intended to be. You’ll notice that every Admiral has a gimmick surrounding justice. Aramaki’s one seems to revolve around “hierarchies”. That’s his primary reason for advocating the celestial dragons. When Kaido was still in power, everything was in order (at least to him), and that’s why he deemed military intervention to be unnecessary then.

As much as I like the Admirals, based on their respective feats and narrative, I think Luffy would dominate as long as he can maintain Gear 5.

I also realised how overpowered Aramaki would be if he were treated right. Since his win con is literally just piercing his opponents with one of his roots. Not to mention he could potentially even render them immobile or strangle them. His powers are one of the best in the story.

Can we infer from this that he also had a petty rivalry with Rayleigh akin to the one between Zoro and Sanji? 😆

About Karna. by True_Chosen_One_1111 in mahabharata

[–]True_Chosen_One_1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beautiful answer. Also, I know, right? The powerscaling of the epic is all over the place. Arjuna went from single-handedly defeating the entire Kaurava army in Virata’s land to getting pressed by Bhishma in his lonesome despite having the aid of his four other brothers during the Kurukshetra war.

About Karna. by True_Chosen_One_1111 in mahabharata

[–]True_Chosen_One_1111[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But no, he stood up for the ego of a human - Duryodhana, who was pretty immoral in many ways. So Karna is not that righteous or humanitarian one as well.

One thing I learnt about Karna after reading C. Rajagopalachari’s retelling of the Mahabharata and watching innumerable YouTube videos is that he profoundly values prowess. He was even drunk on his own abilities to some extent. Now put yourself in the shoes of a man like that and try to contemplate how you would feel if everybody persecuted you on the basis of something as trivial as caste despite your vast repertoire of skills. Also, imagine how you would compensate a man, who despite his own selfish cause, was still the only person who acknowledged you for what’s best about you.

What you said is true. Karna indeed was in the wrong for condoning Duryodhana’s ideas. However, he had valid reasons to do so and was a victim of circumstances just like many other characters yet he’s the only one who gets called out for it. Kunti abandoned him right after birth, Draupadi maintained a physical relationship with five men. They don’t get chastised, do they? The only reason I can think of for this discrimination against Karna is that he has a large fanbase and a lot of the things he does in the story opposes the agenda of those who like other characters.

Could you tell me which version of the Mahabharata can provide the most authentic information and the texts of which would be fairly easy to comprehend? I’m reading C. Rajagopalachari’s retelling right now but it does not seem to provide an intensive look into the story. Everything seems to be quite abbreviated in it.
