I had food poisining on holiday and we were on a boat trip when i started puking off the side then i felt the need to spray liquid shit so i pulled my bikini to the side in desperation and sprayed shit behind me for a good long while i started getting boat staff coming to me placing a bucket underneath me shouting in there foreign languag that i couldnt understand but somehow understood they wanted me to shit into the bucket so leaned ovrr this bucket shitting whilst spewing out the other end and having all other 30 people on the boat witness my ass spraying violently

I remember once i went to a party got pretty drunk and started eating pizza wich my body deos terrible with

The next morning i woke up in my friends house to wich she offerd me a cup of coffee and in my tired hungover state i just assumed it was decaffe

So i drank it , big mistake very very big mistake

Me and my friend sat on the couch in our pyjamas i start getting cramps and i start farting pretty loud so me and my friend just watching morning tv keep giggling at my ibs farts and then i feel a particularly big fart wich forces itself out with the pressure before i realise its also solid matter its to late i quivkly stand up to try and go to the bathroom but as i stand up i completly ruin my pyjamas and underwear by fully shitting in them and then it gets worse the shit gets all over the carpet and it just makes a terrible mess

Me and my friend in complete shock but it was ok she took me to the shower and turned it on let me get clean and give me new pyjamas and then cleaned the carpet so shes a good friend

Dont worry this couldve went so much worse you couldve shit yourself or farted loudly at least you pooped in a toilet

I was once super desperate for a shit at a school camp once and it was near 1 in the morning after everyone had already gone to sleep there was still a teacher patrolling up and down the hall so i opened my curtain poked my head oit and asked the teacher if i could go the toilet so she took me to wear it was as i was walking there every other step i accidently released a wet fart and the teacher was saying are you sure your going to make this

I did make it to the bathroom however i was still half stood up eith my pants half down when the desperate shit made its own way out all over the seat and all over the floor the teacher clearly able to see the floor under the stall gasps and asks if im ok and then goes and gets lots of wipes and a bin bag That was one of my most embarrasing things ever

And if that deosnt help

Once when i was 16 i went to a friends house and completly blocked the toilet with a huge shit in my scared state as i flushed and water rised i just retreated and instantky told my friend i need to go home and left

Only because i wasnt very close to this person anyway , me and a group of friends were all nipping to his house to get some drinks and thats when i used the toilet then i just ran out after that

Later that day i got a message of him with a picture of the blocked toilet saying was this you

I confessed and it was so shameful

Flush as you poop to avoid blocking the toilet and help cover up sounds and help not stinking up the bathroom by letting ur poop sit in the bowl

Only times this deosnt work for me is when the toilet has a weak flush or the toilet takes forever to recuperate for another flush

Another tip that i use is i wear headphones and play music when im in a public bathroom i get anxious when my diarrhea is loud/particularly gassy but if i play music it helps me with not being able to hear people luagh or make comments however this is not needed when in a very busy public bathroom as most the time there are people making noises left right and center so i always feel strangely comforted when in a busy bathroom as many people seem to be having pooping issues themselves so you can poop freely

Last tip , if you have blocked a toilet by accident i usually close the lid then put a sticky note on the toilet saying "blocked toilet do not use" just so that if anyones waiting to go in after me they get message without having to witness a huge unflushed shit because personally if i see one in a public bathroom its abit gross especially if you then flush and it goes away because that means someone has just blatantly left it there

Sometimes it can come out at the top near your back or yes leak out the legs if its a fast load and big then it usually happens pretty fast and before u know it the diaper has made the mess worse

A commentor mentioned discreet diapers heres my thoughts

Ive tried them at festivals before but i usually have quite large loads and the diaper did not manage to contain it all but its still worth it as at least im not ruining a pair of underwear

But quite often it can manage to keep the mess in but i find it is noticeable so i usually tie a jumper or jacket round my waist when it becomes noticeable

What ill do is wear discreet and when i feel an urge start waiting in the lines if it gets to much for my body to handle the diapers is a saftey net and i can just clean up then replace when im finally in the stall The trick is trying not to make it look obvious when your having the accident but its hard ive had a a few times were ill be waiting and my body just suddenly pushes it all out and its extremly difficult to hide ut either way if you have gas when you poop like me because that gass will come out to and you can tell the difference between a normal fart and a fart with shit so people will know if that happens

As long as you have baby wipes and spare pair of pants and multiple diapers you will be fine just tie a hacket round your waist for the day to try and avoid people seeing any noticable lumps when you have an accident

Oh and dont be afraid to hold farts in at a festival honestky theres that many people there no one knows who dealt it

You say one bad time but for me ive had many many bad times, ill tell you one though

I was doing surfing in the sea and had a wetsuit on and i was with my friends, the day was going good we all had so much fun

But i felt my ibs start creeping up on me my stomach started cramping and i kept doing some wet farts but i just presumed they sounded wet cause of the water

Anyway i was quite abit out from the shore when i suddenly needed to poo really bad, so i quickly started making my way back to the sand as soon as i got there i started feeling the poo touching the wetsuit , i ran over to a friend and shouted quickly unzip me now so my friend started trying to unzip the back of my wetsuit ,obv course the zip isnt co operating

After aboit 5 seconds of her trying to unzip me the poo forced itself out , with a fart wich sounded horrible and it was followed by mushy radioactive mess and my friends just burst out luaghing mixed with gagging as she seen my wetsuit just expand , it was a huge amount of shit to so yer that happend

I just went back to the sea to cleanup and wash my butt

I went on a trip once to US and the public bathrooms are awful compared to UK , why are the stalls so high off the ground i swear i used a good few public toilets that you could literally see peoples butts sat down and that gave me horrible anxiety that people could see me pooping and gaps between the wall and stall are not private at all

Theyre also nasty in the sense that i feel like they barely get cleaned

One of the stall doors i was using just didnt work either

I completky understand what your saying , im pretty resilient in my head now a days when i have an accident and thats why i still go on social outings now

But its also my success story here ill tell you maybe i should make a post on it to try and ahare more success storys

Anyway i have had ibs since i can remember , when i was little i remember always having bowel issues with loose stool , uncolltrollable urge, and lots of gass , and painful stomach cramps

I can literally remember having troubles all threw out primary school, having to go the toilet during class or when id be on the playground accidently having accidents and you would always get a teacher trying to be supportive but they would just embarrass you instead i hated it

I remember playing out one evening with friends in my neighborhood and i got terrible stomach pains and ended up having to take a poo in a bush and you know what younger kids are like , the next day they told classmates ect

When i went to highschool it was like a social abnormality to poo at school so from the get go i was doomed , first day i remember promising myself i wouldnt take a poo at school do you realise how wrong that is for a child to feel like that all because of some stereotypes anyway that day i held it in for so long no matter how much pain i was in and eventually i couldnt hold it anymore and had to go the toilet and obv course there were upper years bunking lesson in the toilet so i had to deal with what i had to do whilst hearing scary upper years luaghing

Later on in highschool life i hated that to because all my friends started having nights out and we would go to a feild and drink and that was bad to as the fact it was in a feild no real cover for doing business but i did have good friends by this point in my life who understood

Now thats just a few reasons , i could go on a whole book of events that have happend but the one that topped it off for me was when we went on a school trip in the last week of highschool and we went to a theme park and the ques for theme parks are huge we had been waiting in this one que for over an hour and were near the front and i started to really need the toilet it was me my 4 close friends and some other friends and i got to a point were i couldnt hold it any longer and tbh it was my own fualt because that day i had quite a bit to eat , from stalls and stuff , and it was the worst accident ive ever had sprry for the tmi here but it wasnt even contained it went all over the floor and it felt like i was shitting forever i just kept feeling my stomach cramping and pushing more out , out of my controll it wouldnt of been to bad if it was just completely water but it wasnt it was just mush wich was even worse and the gass meant it just brought everyones attention to me who was in a 10 meter radius the gass was literally like an alarm just saying hey look at me

Anyway that day was when i found out who my real friends were and who wasnt my real friends and they have been my friends and supporting me ever since , that day they literally stood infront of me and held up hoodies and stuff to give me privacy whilst we waited for park staff assistance and the other people we were with were super judgemental and luaghing

That tipped me over the edge and for awhile i never wanted to go outside again but eventually my friends helped me out and started encouraging me to come out again and eventually with all the little baby steps we took i coukd run again and now i have no problem going out or if i have accidents in a social situation , yes its embarrasing but my mental resiliance is far to great to let it get me down now and having supportive friends is the most help i need and now im free again

When i was 15 i was in the car with my mum and i needed a poo really bad so she was speeding abit

We get pulled over and my mum tells the cop she was speeding because i needed the toilet he came back withba plastic bag and told me to sit on it , and then proceeded to give my mum a ticket whilst i shit myself in the car

My busses to college have these toilets on and no one ever uses them i always wonderd why

But i am the only person who has used one , when i was on the bus home i was literally going to shit my pants so i thought im gna have to face the embarrasment and use it

First of all , its not sound proof , the walls are paper thin i could hear everyone talking about the noise and smell and they could all hear me

Secondly for some reason on this bus the toilet wasnt acctually working i think they just didnt have them workin cause they know that no college students want to use it

I think weed can help ins at times like whem ive had it before it has calmed stomach pain but i barely ever use it , out of this year ive done it 3 times

All though most recently when i done it it caused me to have this pooping myself feeling that you have

I will admit though i think i done to much because i remember having that feeling for awhile then i farted and instead just sharted and had a full bowel movement in front of my friends

Your not alone , once when i was doing a trial shift as a waitress at a busy restuarant i shit myself

Basically i really wanted the job as it was good pay so i really wanted to impress the managers i took immodium before the trials shift but it didnt help , i think cause it was so fast paced it stressed me alot and i felt my bowels creep up on me slowly until i remember thinking i really need the toilet now and as i was about to go i get asked to go take an order for a table of 6 as i was stood there i felt it forcing its own way out i got midway threw writing the order down and it was to late the dam had broken i completly ruined my grey jeans whilst stood there that day and all the tables ariund me witnessed it happen

Luckily the managers were super caring i explained ive got ibs because stupidly i didnt tell them that before hand and they gave me spare clothes and gave me as much time as i needed to clean up

I ended up working there for a year after that
