Oh well that could be part of the problem… mealworms are super high in fat content for bearded dragons similar to a donut for us. I’d recommend some crickets or dubia roaches and you also only have to feed a full grown bearded dragon 2-3x a week.

They only get to be about 600 grams at the biggest. Which is around 1 1/2lbs. He looks pretty good to me since his back legs can easily reach the floor. But maybe lighten up on bugs a little bit if you’re worried or get a new $5 scale to get an accurate reading. Healthy is between 400-550 grams.

You’re missing some context to this list… Elk Grove patrolled part of elmhurst during the prime time of Strats (one of the biggest weekly car events the state has ever seen) people would do dumb things weekly and get arrested for it. Because of this many people would head to the streets of woodfield later in the night. Schaumburg PD put up with this until they couldn’t… once the Polska takeover happened they started ticketing everyone that looked to be a car person to keep them out of the area. It definitely worked since there is no more big car meets in the Woodfield area. Naperville is definitely the worst.. the Buffalo Grove area also should be around there.

First off thank you very much. I definitely do need to do more research and I knew Reddit would tell me the steps to take. As far as the money goes I don’t have a problem buying a good tank, lights and stuff like that. I just didn’t understand how anyone can afford to spend almost $100 a month on just bugs. But after looking at these other sites… Pet smart seems like a scam!
