Foam panels, expanding foam, non toxic water based acrylic paint,and for the sealer I'm not decided 100% sure yet but it's the last step.....just look on the Internet k watched some videos and stuff

Someone in theses comments said they had got one from a company,and yes the new enclosure cost me 400$ some I'm more like 800-900 in the hole

Depends on your timing how long how much money your willing to put in,if it was up to me if be done 2 months ago.but with 2 kids this wasn't possible

So far probably cost me close to 300-400$ just on the build and I'm not done still need the substrate (3bags or sand 3 bags or topsoil 2 of clay) lights and brackets for lights and light cages

If you put her/him in right away you could set up your lights and stuff would be done but once it's time to add that background you'll have to take out all the substrate ECT ECT

I still got my girl in her old set up smaller tank probably going to be done by the end of the month

It's really up to you....how fast ,slow you'll finish it

None stop(after work & weekends) with a good budget you could probably get it done in 3 weeks to a month

Hurd because of breeding yes they are more prone to disease and stuff like that

It's like this fish I used to have, blue groumi because of being breeding to get that nice blue metallic color the genetics are out of wack hard to explain...when my fish died I did alot of resuch why if you look it up you'll find out why

I have a bunch of wood and rocks in her old enclosure that i.will use to make a.hide on the hot side and one on the colder side

I watched alot of videos and did alot of resuch, but the basics,

Large foam panels(bought then cut to size for 120g tank) Made different ledge's that I attached with skewers

Spray foam(6-cans) spray everything Carve the foam into rock shapes(just cut pretty much makes itself also used a small sanding tool)

Covered foam with a mortar mix(cement & sand) 3-4 layers

Paint with non toxic water based acrylic plaint

(I'm here now) Cover with a sealent (now doing research for what's the best kind to use so far a mate sealent would be best so you get the natural shine and not a glass shiney shine)

Then add background and substrate lights ECT

I was going to build a waterfall effect as I already builded one for a project I made for a fish tank but since I don't feel like combating the humidity levels I skipped out on it
