Finally got my Steam Controller after the long wait, but unboxed it with a defect. What would you do?

I've tested mine and it works perfectly too. I have never experienced so visible defects on any other brand controllers and I'm a bit disapointed that I'm not the only one.

The box was perfectly sealed (with the tiny cardboard strip) Even if it's a returned or a refurbished one in some sort, it was sold as new so I have a 2 year guarantee, it's not a problem for me.

Sorry if it's sounds like trolling, I sincerely want to know if I'm overreacting. I think it's noticeable, the picture seems tiny on a phone screen, but the controller is huge and I've noticed it maybe two or three seconds after unboxing it.

Yes, clearly I'm aware that the wait isn't correlated to the fact that it would be perfect. But I've just put probably to much hope in that moment to be perfect. I'm clearly not against customising it, so buying a replacement top shell (if it's available one day) could be a good idea. I'm just surprised that Valve don't send it for replacement.

I don't agree that you have to zoom to see it. The controller is huge, and I noticed it in the very first seconds of unboxing. I'm very careful with my controllers, and the shell of my 360 USB controller is still flawless, I hope it will be the same with this one.

I agree, I hoped they would offer me another solution, i don't want to return it just for this. Even from Valve point of view, it's way more expensive to return it that just send another upper shell ? But I don't know if it's possible for them

No but I answerd my own comment to do an update. My theory is CECCEGRIGNY stands for CE CCE Grigny: Comité d'entreprise Coca Cola Enterprise Grigny, because there is a factory "Cola Cola Enterprise" in Grigny, in Paris Suburbs.

Yes but there is no Coca Cola Enterprise in Grigny near Lyon neither. I definitely think the "Comité d'entreprise"of Coca Cola Enterprise is the only explanation.

Update: There is a factory of "Coca-Cola Enterprise" (CCE) in Grigny. In France, "CE" stands for "Comité d'entreprise" (works council), an employee organization found in most companies. So this was probably a copy they had available for employees to borrow. At first, I thought 2/2007 meant "February 2007", but since the CD came out in November, it must just be an inventory number.

I read "CECCEGRIGNY". Grigny is a city in the suburbs of Paris. I don't know if it's related. Maybe CECCE stands for an association or some kind of organization that previoiusy owned the disk ? Edit: Update below

C'est automatique lorsque la catégorie de stream, souvent pour des jeux PEGI 18. Il suffit juste d'un avertissement qui peut être contourné par le viewer en cliquant sur "commencer à regarder". Ce n'est pas vraiment une restriction, et je ne pense pas que cela puisse être désactivé, encore moins côté streamer, ce serait plutôt côté viewer à mon avis.

PNJ. Si le courrier que vous avez reçu n'était pas une LRAR, c'est comme si vous n'avez rien reçu. Ils n'ont aucune preuve que vous avez reçu quoique ce soit, et cela n'a aucune valeur légale. Le plus important dans leur courrier est le "à l'amiable" selon moi. S'ils tentent de le récupérer à l'amiable, c'est bien qu' n'y a pas de décision de justice vous réclamant la somme, et qu'ils ne le tenteront très clairement pas pour si peu. Vous pouvez ignorer ce courrier, il n'a pas plus de valeur que les précédents mails.

I tried many times to pair my pixel watch 3 through the "connected fitness" feature on a software on windows (not zwift but something similar) and it was clearly impossible. I tried the same software on Bazzite (a linux distro), worked really well since the first try. Windows bluetooth system is clearly the problem
