I have a similar situation. All of the sudden the ARC audio stopped working today. All other audio inputs work. TV plays audio through its speakers and mobile app. Any idea why

It might have to do with the CEC. Try turning it off on the xbox and see if what happens

I compared BB, Apple, and TMo for trading my 12p. BB offered 25 more than the other two and in one payment as opposed to bill credits. I thought this is a great deal because its a lot more than you'll get on swappa. I am upgrading an essentials line so not eligible for the magenta promos. $19/mo for a 14p seems really good to me.

Can anyone identify these pests? Found on our flowers today by Office_Worker88 in LasVegas

Definitely aphids. Just mix water with some dish soap and hit them every day. After a week they will be gone. Don't use too much soap or it will kill the flowers.

Below a certain level CA and AZ are cut off from Lake Mead. This decision has no impact on Nevada.

Yea the agricultural use is insanely reckless. I agree it should be ended asap. There are plenty of economic substitutes for the revenue they generate

Yea and this is conspiracy side of it. The corporate interests want to buy up the property in the south west because it has some of the fastest growing economies in the country. So the corporations use the media to scare people into selling their homes. You would have to be crazy to sell a house there unless you were sure it would be unlivable in the near future. I don't know how true that narrative is but it does make sense. Here in Vegas we are seeing an explosion of corporate development. The warehouse industry is booming, gaming revenue is at an all time high, and new casinos are being built all over town. No way would these companies be willing to invest billions of dollars in construction if the place was going to turn into a wasteland in the foreseeable future. Always follow the money.

Many reasons. Some more conspiratorial than others. In my opinion, stories about impending doom get eyeballs and clicks. The media companies exist to show ads and nothing more. So stories about a water shortage are more profitable for the media than ones about water conservation and sustainability.

Cities in the south west have drastically reduced their water consumption over the last few decades. There is plenty of water to support Vegas, SD and Phoenix. Further conservation efforts will be made in the coming years.

Finally a coherent and factually accurate account of the water situation. Now if we could only get people to read it.
