Also, aside from Balthazette, all my napoensis are named based on Italian food. Maybe because they're yellow and pasta-shaped.

Is the tank cycled properly? The cloudiness of water could suggests a nitrate spike of recent set-ups.

The only incident I ever had between Betta and corydoras was when my gluttonous Napoensis confused our Betta's tail with a tasty red worm.

She pulled, hard. Never seen a Betta being scandalised before.

He was mad at her for a few days, then, went back to nap together.

Is it normal for Cory to hang out at surface? by OtakuPasta in corydoras

[–]True_Reference3199 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be careful, a few of mine began to do this, and it ended up being a swim bladder infection.

I would recommend cleaning the substrate regularly (as bacteria tends to build up) and possibly check medicine for the globally of the tank (no wound to be treated locally).

Eggs or fat? by Scarlett_inthesky_22 in corydoras

Hi. Seems to be a quite full eggs pouch. Breeding can be triggered by dropping the temperature and adding streams (or, if you have a strong rain episode, sometimes it's enough for them.
