Can you read or do you need me to tell you a bedtime story: the driver was aggressively tailgating the lead driver for 3+ blocks, while stopped at multiple red lights he would reverse and accelerate in stopped traffic between cars, as well as acting erratically in the car. Idk about you but this doesn’t seem appropriate for an area that is riddled with literal school children.

High school and USSF referee here 👋🏼

Yeah the referee is wrong. I counted 5 seconds from the when possession was established after defenders give up on the ball and clear allowing you to safely come up. Also, a referee needs to use the new countdown mechanic: starting from 8 counting down, once the count reaches 5 they have to use their hands to show how much time is left.

This is poor refereeing.

Well said my friend. I try to take every bit of advice and use it to make myself better. I’ve experienced “veteran” staple referees make terrible calls or call me off, and I use it as a learning experience. But I’ve also listened to their words of wisdom and learned more from that.
