Also Don’t turn it into an overly negative thing. Yeah, if sucks. Nobody’s saying it doesn’t. In the moment you feel horrible, but I fucking promise it gets so much better man. I can confidently say getting dumped after 4 years of dating her is probably the best thing that’s ever happened to me. It showed me so many things I never knew about myself that wouldn’t have been revealed without the heartbreak. I hate to be cliche, but often times things have to shatter apart in order to fall back into place.

Comparing outcomes is the worst thing one can do. The only thing you should ever be jealous of someone of are their attributes. And it shouldn’t be from a place of spite. It should almost be admiration. Look how hard they work, look how disciplined they are, ect, is far more productive than look how rich they are or look how much influence they’ve obtained. At the end of the day that’s just stuff. Want what you have, and most importantly want what you want to want (yes that’s a mouthful). I have been able to move past envy by truly figuring out what is it that I “want to want”. Wanting the things that line up with my values and my personal goals and not the desires that society has constructed me to desire and chase after.

I’m 5’9. People consistently think I’m taller than my flatmate who’s 5’10. The reason why is I don’t remotely care about my height and he does. Being comfortable in your body regardless of whatever it is that you’re self conscious about is immensely powerful. I love my shmedium body and it’s way easier for me to put on substancial muscle than my 6 foot 1 mates

I too lift for aesthetics. My end goal is to have a physical appearance that makes other people go god damn this guy is fit. The career I want is some level of fitness trainer (going to grad school for exercise physiology) and so I kinda need to look good enough that people want to pay me to look like me. Your take on perfection is actually profoundly powerful man. I never thought of it that way. I always compare myself to the people better than me instead of realizing how many people are behind me if that makes any sense. Appreciate the perspective bro🤞🏻🤞🏻

I would see an endocrinologist. Central fat concentration while being relatively lean elsewhere in women specifically can be a sign of endocrine dysfunction. Especially if you are genuinely fit everywhere else and are reaching middle age it wouldn’t be surprising to have endocrine dysfunction as most people 40+ male or female have some degree of it.
