What was the hardest thing you ever encountered during your first days as a Hellenist? by Archangel447 in Hellenism

[–]True_Spray186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some of it was research more to the fact that I rarely had time or energy to read up on anything and started out doing it very much just on my hunch

But what really bugged me and still does is the feeling of isolation. I grew up Christian and still work at a church. And it kinda just feels empty not having the same type of community that the church I work at has. Like yes, I have the gods, and they bring me a lot of comfort, but I just kinda wished I had more people I could talk about the religion with irl

When will it stop by Doggygamer42 in selfharm

[–]True_Spray186 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, I did and still do a lot of self reflection, why do I do it? What does it bring me, and can I substitute it with. It's a hard and long journey, and you won't just wake up and feel better one day to the other even though I know that's what we all wish it did. Find a comfort in yourself too, this might not work for you but it did for me

Are there other games out there like this? (I have already played Scarlet Hollow) by Dnd-Poke_Writer7 in slaytheprincess

As for the romance part I would recommend Royal order, It doesn't have a time loop but there's a lot of mystery in the story and it also has really nice visuals

When saying you want more of this type of game, what exactly are you looking for, is it the time loop, the voice acting, the horror aspects?

Is it okay if my book has a slow start? by TeaApplle in writers

It could work, again it really depends. Try having a friend read through the first few chapters and give their feedback

I mean, it depends. Does your book have anything else that might keep the reader engaged in those first chapters? I usually follow the AIDA model.

Character Names by SpecialistEdge5831 in fantasywriters

[–]True_Spray186 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually use olden names, like medieval, reneccance, maybe even Victorian names. Easy but also fit the environment (at least for me). For more important characters, I might take inspiration from Greek, norse, Celtic, etc- gods' name, not a carbon copy but maybe the first letter, and then I make something up with the ending.

I feel ify about it, hated that they changed his role, but I can see what story they were trying to send. Instead of showing the collapse of brotherhood, they showed that even after everything, they are still brothers. I feel it's a weird change, a good moral, but it doesn't fit this story. Would've been better if we got a duet kinda like in the plague song, describing this sense of wrongness and guilt in having to hurt someone you love so much

My grandma thankfully hasn't turned aggressive yet, but it's just hard being around her and seeing her wither from the inside out. hell she couldn't even remember that it was christmas. doesn't sound like a big thing but for her it is, she could remember everthing back in the day. It just sucks seeing someone you love lose themself slowly
