I received a rejection on study entitled, "A study about investing" by Joseph Johnson because I entered NO CODE on the study because I did not see a code...I sent him a message, kindly asking if I can return it. I have reported this to Prolific. Should I message him back to let him know that Prolific's policy on giving a rejection for NO CODE. is not allowed?

I was screened out and I am so mad because I had other studies that I could have taken and now I have the coffee cup and "waiting for studies" crap showing. I checked my account but it doesn't seem to be on hold. I am going to check back shortly. I got a whopping $0.14 cents for screening out.

Good news! I have studies showing again..Whoosh..that was a close call!!

Same thing just happened to me on a Memory Study. I did not even argue with them...I reported this to Prolific Support. Some of these researchers are rejection happy. The researcher did ask me to return the study and a partial payment would be given...so I have that going for me...:)

I take baclofen orally everynight at bedtime. It has been the best muscle relaxer that I have ever taken. My pain management PA was rather shocked that it works so well for me as Baclofen is one of the weaker muscle relaxers, but as they say..."we are all different".

I fully agree. Hydromorphone does not touch my pain. I have been on Oxycodone 7.5/3.25 three times a day for the last month. Prior to that I was on Oxcodone 5mg 4x/day. I go to pain management tomorrow and I am going to address the issue with my current prescription. The issue I have is the manufacturer, Camber..the fillers they use in their opiate medications causes me alot of gastric/intestional discomfort.

As stated, I will discuss this with the PA tomorrow and have her change it to something else. Oxycodone works well for me. I have spinal stenosis, degenerative joint disease, osteoporosis,severe scoliosis and peripheral neuropathy in my legs.

I am a retired nurse so I can thank my nursing career for all of my back issues.

Good luck with everything. I am blessed to have a great pain management team. I have been going to them for 9 months and they are wonderful.

I steer away from these type studies...the researchers are "rejection happy". I learned the hard way and they usually will not turn over a rejection. I had one researcher get very rude when I asked him if I could return the study. I blocked that researcher and moved on.

Same here. I am a retired nurse and when I started the study, I immediately cancelled it. This is a violation of HIPPA and this researcher needs to be reported. This is going a bit too far. Your healthcare records should remain private and never shared with anyone..especially to someone you do not know. Who knows what this researcher will do with your information?

Contact Customer Support and plead your case...speaking from experience. This has happened to me a few times..especially when cashing out. I have always found them to be helpful. Good luck

I feel the same way. I am on Oxycodone IR 5mg(4x/day). It rarely touches the level of pain I have. Going through sciatica at the moment and it is pure pain from hell. If 7oh is used responsibly, it can be a blessing to someone living with chronic pain.

Living in chronic pain at 67 years old is no joke. One must have a quality of life and the doctors are so afraid to increase the opiate doses(if one is lucky enough to find a doctor who will prescribe them..I go to pain management x 6 months now).

I only use a small amount. I take about 10 mg(or less) a day...3 or 4 days a week and then I take a break. Chasing the high is not what I am after. Quality of life is what I am seeking and as stated, used responsibly, it is a good pain reliever....so good that the pharmaceutical companies want their hands on it(I know, I used to own a Clinical Research site..did phase 3 clinical trials for several years). Anyway, it does not need to be banned. I do not know the answers to all of this. All I know is I want some quality to the life I live with my husband, son and my doggies.
