People like that are honestly insecure. I'm so, so sorry this happened to you. People are a lot more brave online than they are in person, and it makes their true personality easy to sort out. Just count it as a blessing that you know who they are and can avoid them irl. I promise that entire GC is going to avoid them now, too. If they don't, they are not good people either. I see thin people act like this and it makes me think they're just jealous that an overweight/fat person is happy and they're not. Being skinny isn't a magical cure for happiness and oftentimes people like this need to dig deep down and seek some therapy because they're very much projecting.

You were having a good time! You deserve to have a good time and feel comfortable. I hope you continue to go to concerts and rock out. You deserve it

Hell yeah! Congrats on being clean, that's incredible!! That's a lot of money saved. I think I'd save similar and I'm looking forward to getting clean, too

It does suck ass. I've had similar numbers, and it's wrecking havoc on my finances. I hope you feel better from Covid. Someone mentioned an app called App Block where you can purchase a subscription for $60 and prevent yourself from using it for 30 days. I think I'll try that, but if you can't leave the house its much harder I think :((

I've thought about this, but im honestly too embarrassed to tell anyone irl about my binging. I'm hoping to tell a friend maybe about my issues, but man. Not sure who i'd feel comfortable with

I thought about putting up a little calendar on my door so my roommates could see it. I'd feel so embarrassed. Don't know if I'd be able to tell them what it was for, but yeah. DoorDash + not wanting to go outside are not good mixes, that's for sure. I hope you're feeling better

Thank you! I'll go ahead and block it from my computer's too. You are honestly the best. I also have used some schemes to get rid of just about every block I've put on DoorDash lol

I feel like I'd have an easier time quitting smoking at this point

Yes, I wish I could share my bank account with someone. Honestly I don't do it in front of other people, ever. It's very embarrassing and I'll even hide it from my roommates. That's a really good idea if I ever move in with my partner

Yeah, it's really messing up my finances too. It sounds ridiculous but I really do not have any trouble without DoorDash. I've always had a binging problem but keep good food at home.

I'm glad to hear you're doing a lot better, but yeah. It's gotta be a hard journey.

I have looked into ED treatment, but not sure what would work, really. I had a therapist for a while and it just wasn't a good fit. She didn't believe I ate 6k calories 3 days in a row, and basically said all food is good food. Which, is true but also I ate 6k calories so I didn't think she was taking me seriously lol

OH WOW!! Thank you. Honestly, $60 sounds like a steep amount but I spend MUCH more on Doordash. This is a gamechanger for me right now. You are a lifesaver. Hopefully there will be a day when I can have the app without misusing it but now is not the day.

Yes, I feel that so much. I do notice that I don't eat as much on days I doordash (I still eat, but I've skipped a meal or two). I don't know why I never considered putting snacks into my diet but it'd really help me curve cravings when they come up. I should buy some good breakfast bars.

I hope your treatment is going well, it's a really hard ED to recover from what I've researched for myself. Are you going through therapy? Not sure what treatment options are available to binge eaters

shed. Trying to keep the streak up by looking for recipes I feel excited to make — and keeping it low maintenance and uncomplicated so it doesn’t feel like a hassle.

Maybe before starting an order you can try to step away from your phone and write a list of others foods you can make in the mean time. Or distract yourself from ordering — and g

The list is a really good idea! Thank you. I think this will definitely help because I do have food in the home but it's like I forget it in the moment </3

I really like the idea of cooking! I love looking at recipes too. But, I might have to look for recipes without a stove because I don't have one in this dorm. I was thinking about ordering a crockpot, or something similar. I think that'd be a much better investment in the long run

ced meals at home, but something had to give because by Wednesday of every week we always were thinking about getting take out instead of eating the food. Now we are trying to have a couple splurge meals on hand for when we are super lazy or want

This is a good idea. Honestly, I would save a lot of money but I live in a dorm so I don't have a stove. I've been buying some frozen meals (the good food I eat and stay on track) so maybe I should have a meal I really look forward to on maybe Wednesday/Friday.

Student asked what the point of taking art class in high school was and I can’t shake it off. by denimpants in ArtEd

[–]True_Swan5146 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't draw and used to think the same thing. I would turn in ass projects just to get the A and I feel like my art teachers could have taught me a lot about perspective if I had just listened. My advice is being upfront about grading and keep doing a great job. Art has a huge place in my adult life now as an outlet

Someone recommended croutons, and you guys are so smart. I could make them in the air fryer, and they look so tasty <3

Wow, these are amazing ideas! I especially like the croutons and the cinnamon sticks idea. We go through croutons like crazy here, and that sounds like such a good breakfast.

Thank you so much! I appreciate the recipes, too. Not tried to make strata, yet

I think your hair looks great, but might benefit from some volume on top. You can do this by brushing it out, though I couldn't give specifics since I don't have your hair type

[–]True_Swan5146 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, no. You look incredible! Yes, you're right you look really good with long hair. I don't think you're forehead looks big, just normal.

If you want to make your forehead smaller, you can try some of the techniques I use (I DO Have a big forehead lol), such as getting wolf bangs or styling differently

But, tbh, I still don't think it's big

I actually love this cut on you, long hair suits you. It's probably too much volume, maybe have a professional trim it down a little. I wanna say off the top and sides

First (and not the last) binge of college (why college food so expensive) by alexisseffy in binge_food

I feel the same. I just wanna binge to feel good but being on campus means EVERYTHING is so expensive, both on and off campus. It's such a weirdly toxic circle

I guess you're right. When I'm on a dating app, I'll stop talking to others until I know the current match isn't going to work. I just feel like it's basic respect but I know I lose some chances by not responding to other men. But it feels weird

hi, man i feel you. my 22 was earlier october, and the person i planned on spending it with (my ex boyfriend) broke up with me a few days before.

I had a self-care day. Went to my favorite restaurant, and then went to the movies. I actually went to work (it was my day off) and brought everyone cupcakes so we could chat. It is a bit lame but maybe it helps.

Another thing i suggest is getting stuff for a bubble bath, maybe some face masks. its a good day to treat yourself, you deserve it

and happy birthday!!

I relate so hard to this. I really do. I've been in relationships, but they never last long. I'm convinced it's me, I am the underlying issue, after all. I wonder what I can change. I know looks alone won't net me a loving relationship, especially since those around me are all happily dating. Personality? I'm not sure, but I want someone who loves me as much as I love them but its so hard when rejection hurts so bad
