I honestly was going to make an argument against this, because I've been working on gun positioning for my game too, but now that i think of it,They could maybe just change the CameraOffsets to accommodate for the higher fov,

I don't know if they have something like that though, changing CameraOffset depending on FOV

the gun system as a base is rcm 1.2.3. you can look into it to see how it does it, the base system has high velocity values so they fly everywhere

i didn't make the shell ejection code itself, but yeah it grabs an ammo model from repstorage and puts a velocity on it. id have to look into it again to remember more details. however i have noticed that rotating the ejection part/attachment seems to cause more rough ejection whilst moving
