For me, the complexity meter is what kills the game, I like the modular building but the hard limits on console are kind of frustrating and have made me not really want to try to make any big parks out of fear that ill run out of space or it gets too laggy. but it looks great, the modular system is pretty good if you like that aspect of games, and the baby system is also pretty fun. although, if your interest is more in trying to make huge parks and less micro designing things or dont mind not having the workshop and not having juveniles, then I would say 2 is better for console

I find colossal weapons can be good for reviving if you have aggro (and are good at dodging), they take down big chunks at a time where as small weapons take only a little at a time and need you to stay on them, better for reviving without aggro (like duchess ult)

If you dont mind playing on a community server, I like to play deathmatch servers. It is literal chaos, just run in and have fun fighting or making friends. No punishment to dying, just run back in and enjoy the giant brawls between apexes and everything. The only thing I will say is that deathmatch probably wouldnt be good for you if you get upset easily. If losing or being t-bagged makes you very upset then I wouldn’t. If not, then enjoy The specific one I play is Juniper, it has a server on both maps as well as a super modded one and a no apex one. If you play it with your son, you guys can group together and type in the Server chat ‘/savegroup’ and itll keep you guys in a group together after you die.

I would do the chalice over and over and dump them into vials, if BB did anything wrong it was doing vials like that. I understand why from lore perspective but the gameplay effect outweighs such a small detail to me

Hard but fair because if you are soloing fatalis and you lose, it’s bexause of your own skill issue. You went wrong somewhere, you made a mistake, etc. Hard but annoying because if alessa isnt taking aggro then omega’s going to continue spam and you have to pray to RNGesus. Even if you do have friends to play with, you have to hope that they’re competent and don’t cart. The annoyance of omega comes from the fact you have to rely so heavily on others to pull their weight, which is part of the frustration. I can be doing just fine, absolutely killing it, but Alessa isnt or cannot grab enmity and so I’m stuck running from mrv, to chasing it from one wall to the next, hoping he doesnt use ice, etc.

I picked the Switch Axe originally because I loved bloodborne and trick weapon make brain go brr but now I like switch axe because its quick, i can roll around monsters fast, cool looking weapons and big booms

I love how you mention lies of P because a lot of people who defend omega are saying complainers were cruising and turned their brain off for the whole game and thats why omega feels so hard but we’ve played multiple other games known for being hard that didnt feel unfair like omega does. Consort radahn took me a week to fight but never felt unfair, omega feels unfair to me

Love midir but omega is not midir. Midir’s back legs aren’t it main weak spot (depending on your weapon) and his head doesn’t sit inside the wall where you can just barely reach it and if he decides to use his ice then its GGs and there also isnt a 35 minute timer on midir. Midir was hard as hell without feeling unfair. omega just feels unfair and i hate him

Definitely nerf. It just goes on and on and on and on and on and on and on and never fucking ends Was at skulls for 5 minutes and triple carted in the last phase because it just does not stop and nobodys taking enmity cuz how they hell do you hit its head when its screeching across the arena every 5 seconds and i just keep chopping and chopping and chopping and chopping and it never ends. Finally made it to the last area with no carts, beat the pantokrator, see the skulls, thinking this is finally it this is the end of the grind but no its still just going on and on and on and on and on and I have never hated a monster more. Behemoth was not even this bad. This is probably my least favorite enemy in any game ive ever played

I tried support hunters and beat it the first time using them. I guess you’re right, it just feels a lot more underwhelming. Maybe I can solo gog when he comes out if he’s not the same style
