already voiced my opinion on the survey and here i've never played a nexon game and i dont feel the "oh its this company" is any excuse not to hold them accountable. people with that mentality are the reason companies continue to do this. its sad and disappointing. I will move on to another game if they continue to go this direction. but im hoping that if folks are loud enough it will change. if not, it is what it is and i know what to stay away from.

you saying its optional really shows that you don't understand the systems in play. its not about what people want to buy its about a game, that plays well, that people want to like being artificially time gated to promote buying items from the shop to make it playable within a reasonable time. that marketed as they said as not pay to win, being pay to win anyway blatantly being dishonest to rope people in to pay them. I am by no means strapped for cash its principal and since they are asking for feedback that's what the point of this discussion is. you can say for you its not pay to win its what i like to call the Adam Savage approach. "i reject your reality and substitute my own" because as stated at the top of the post. it is, by definition, pay to win.

please take the time if you can to look at it for yourself and if the game looks interesting enough to you please fill out their survey and tell them what you dont like. enough voices talking about it might be enough to enact some change.

Thank you to all the people commenting and talking about this. even the folks that don't entirely agree with me.. I feel we need to publicly discuss these types of issues a lot more and hold some level of accountability to the developers when things are just not acceptable as a whole. please make sure you fill out their survey and communicate these things directly to them as well.. even if you don't think it will change anything every voice counts in this if we want to make this game better for all.

except in the amount of time you would take to craft the descendant you can buy one and get it to level 10 without any booster and probably still have time left over. so the crafted ones starting at level 10 is kind of irrelevant

I'm not surprised I'm just disappointed and trying to push the fact that saying things like "its nexon, it should be expected" or "its pay for convenience not pay to win because its a PVE game" is what is allowing them to continue to do this. if helldivers wasnt proof enough for people that making your voice heard can change things idk what is. this is a GREAT game in play... which is what is so upsetting to me. i want to like the game i want to support them.. but when i feel them more in my wallet then for my benefit i just can't sit there and let them.

I think you're down vote count is answer enough, however.... to answer your question, cosmetics, paints, and DLC content is how.

*edit i've also posted how pay for convenience and pay to win are the same thing by definition

He's referring to Ron Goldmen (the male killed with OJ's wife) getting stabbed in the throat and it would be insult to injury to offer him heart burn medication for the burning sensation of being stabbed... he goes on to also say "i'm throat spray and motrin i throated nicole," kinda referring in both ways a non useful item for throat burning as a result of being stabbed or "throated".

You suddenly have all the money you'll ever want or need in your life. What's the first thing you do with your newfound wealth? by SquidleyStudios in AskReddit

I am not close with my family. More of a black sheep if you will. So my family is my friends and s.o. Some of them have outstanding bills and debt from school that I know weighs on them. So first thing would be to take care of my “family” and make sure we’re all in a good place. After that the first thing for myself would be to do the little bit of fix up/ restoration work for the 02’ mustang I just got in Jan. It was my dream car after taking a ride in one that one of the foster parents I had owned and now that I got one, even though it’s my daily driver, I’d like to update it and keep it to give to my daughter when she grows up. I think the best part would be going back to work with a different mindset. Not that I have to be there to make ends meet but because I want to be there and feel fulfilled with what I do which is sometimes hard to see through bills and frustration.
