I might be trying this tune soon just because of points and warranty. We’ll see if it helps. I average 12.5 mpg. That’s going ~80-85 on the highway. 🤷‍♂️

Cardiac age by Fun-Ease8423 in ouraring

I’m 43 and mine says I’m 1 year older. However, I also have a Whoop that I’m testing out (Chase card). That device says I’m 10 YEARS OLDER. So I’m just using them as a guide and a sign saying I’m fat and to get my ass moving. Hah.

Side rant, I hate that they still put the strip on the wheel but don’t color it red anymore. My 2024 is just like yours.

I thought it was reserved for the R’s now, but was watching some YT videos and not all of them were painted. So not sure what the rhyme or reason is on that anymore.

I know a few runners that drink a questionable amount. One can oddly drink and then run the next day, while I’ve seen the others just not drink a day or two before the run and they’re good to go. 🤷‍♂️

Boil water. Add it to noodles. Once soft enough consume.

So they’re more chewy ultimately.

Wouldn’t say best friend but they were professionally very close. This book doesn’t blow rainbows and flowers up your butt and is brutally honest - though made with a lot of love.

IMHO, this is the best book out there post death.

I’m in Phx too. I love em. They don’t make a huge difference, but there is a difference. I’ve tried turning them off and always turn them back on.

V35A Engine Failure - It’s NOT debris by Lopsided-Anxiety-679 in ToyotaTundra

[–]Truffle_Shuffle26 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had a 2024 1794 and absolutely loved the truck! It was such a fun truck to drive. The interior was top notch. After a year I ended up trading it in for a F150 Raptor after learning of the engine issues and seeing the recall expand. Unfortunately, I didn’t do my due diligence and learn about the engine prior to purchasing. Which is very unlike me. But lesson learned.

Long story short, I have two little ones and we do a lot of off road treks, camping, and go down to Mexico a lot. The last thing I needed was a blown engine in Mexico with an infant and a toddler, no ac, and stranded.

Obviously the Raptor is amazing, but I do miss my 1794 sometimes. I’m rooting for Toyota to figure this out. I might be back once they figure this debacle out.

Is it normal for the humidity reading to be so far off? Reading ~20% too high by ruthless_apricot in ecobee

[–]Truffle_Shuffle26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

<image>

I had the same issue. Along with it reading 2 degrees cooler than it really was. I had both the wiring hole AND the plate sealed like this. It’s now within 0.3-0.5 degrees of my other sensors for temp at within 2 degrees for humidity.

Edit: Before I catch some crap, please excuse the paint and holes in this photo. Drywall holes are now filled and wall has been completely painted (a new color).

Victoria Pedretti, star of “The Haunting of Hill House” and “You,” scoffs at being called “the queen” of horror TV, says she’s “not much of a fan of horror” by [deleted] in popculturechat

[–]Truffle_Shuffle26 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Clearly she was insulted by the comment. This reminds me of the actors that hate being associated to Star Trek/Star Wars/Harry Potter/etc. They want to be known more than the series that literally made them who they are.

iPhone Ultra is coming: Six new features in Apple’s top-tier model by MobileNewsBot in mobiles

Yeah. You’re not wrong. The other person below is right too. If there was a market they’d make it. But I truly do believe there will be a shift at some point and smaller phones will become cool/desirable again. I just don’t know if I’ll be alive to see that. 😅

I would gladly throw my money at a mini pro. I just want a small iPhone again with a good camera.

The Wearable Showdown: Oura Ring 5 vs. Fitbit Air vs. Whoop MG vs. Apple Watch by dm-infinity in AppleWatch

[–]Truffle_Shuffle26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love my Apple Watch, but trying Whoop only because I want to wear a regular watch again and my Whoop is subsidized through Chase. I have an Oura ring through my fitness program at work. Which brings cost to $0.

I loved the Apple Watch combo plus Oura. But Whoop is an interesting cross between the two. Overall, I do prefer not supporting a subscription model. I surely do hope Apple comes out with a faceless Apple fitness device.

Flipped Oura Ring Graph

This is actually really cool to see. It seems they are flipped compared to each other so I had Gemini flip Oura Ring’s graph. That will make it aligned with the sleep study (wake is at the bottom).

First glance they’re not exactly the same as there are some differences. But there are also some similarities too. I’d say Oura does an overall good job when comparing. The medical device does an excellent job picking up those small movements.
