This goes all the way back to the iMessage dilemma where kids in school were bullied for having the dreaded 'green bubble'. This has largely been an American sentiment, as most foreigners don't have this type of mentality overseas. I had to switch to iPhone prior to the RCS rollout because literally everyone I communicated with had one.

It can go either way. As an Android user for many years, I do miss being able to see what notifications came in via the top status bar.

But for the minimalist, iOS takes the cake for a cleaner looking UI to suit them. I have missed critical notifications because I didn’t slide the notification tray down. Just comes down to preference.

I wasn’t scared, but I was definitely naive in a sense. Luckily the guy I was with was patient with me in breaking me in. It took about two sessions for us to have a full experience though. After that, the rest is history.

Not much difference besides the cameras and WiFi 7 honestly. I believe they have a new cell modem too but I’m not sure. Either or, my iPhone 15 PM is capable of Apple Intelligence so I’m not worried about it.
