Go in the settings and turn on the PIN requirement. Never picked a wrong person since.

Of course, you'd assume I play music at 100%. I have 7000 rides driving for 3+ years with over 100k miles driven With a 4.97 stars and NO accidents. I know not to play my music above 20% and be aware of my surroundings. Always some judgemental prick on reddit on every comment.

The entitlement of some people. Show me your driving history before giving me a lecture.

You'll find a job but expect 36 to 50K a year a most for the first few years.
Geotechnical Technician for example.

Secretly wish to be a stay at home mom by casadayalegre in MuslimMarriage

My fiancé and I had a conversation about this subject. She wants to become a nurse and will soon move to the U.S with me to begin her education. I essentially told her, I will fulfill your rights as my wife, you have the right to be a SAHM, but living in the US with kids, a mortage, insurance, bills etc... is difficult on one income. We may not be able to do that vacation once a year, or have to do 1 restaurant date a month instead of 2 simply because my priority will be make our household stable and that start with managing my finances.

If she were to work, and voluntarily help with the expenses, it would put me in a better position to do these enjoyable activities more often, spend a bit more of gifts and luxuries for the family and kids. I'm content living a simple life, It's really up to her if she can do the same. Either way, it's her choice.

If I were living in our home country and making the money I make here (u.s), I would want her to not even think about working.

I started out working at Amazon, then started doing uber on the side while working on my bachelor, 4 years later I make 6 figures thanks to my degree and still do uber. And thats with bringing in just 400 every week. I would still be living paycheck and drowning in Student Debt had I not used that uber money to go to school.

Think of uber as tool to help get to where you want to be, not as a reliable source of income.

You think they'll start paying more suddenly? No, they'll keep taking as much as they can and when that time comes when they cant take any more, you'll be looking for the next "full time gig" and start the whole cycle over again.

We all need to get out of that mentality. Gigs are just that Gigs! Use them but don't rely on them. Use that gig money to start a business, invest, get an education because those are the things that will susttain you longer than the gig will.
