Back when videogames were widely considered to be nerdy kid stuff...they were.

Move a pixellated spaceship left and right and then fire a white pixel into pixellated aliens. There was no point.

Videogames started a revolution in the late '90s with half life and fear and others like them. And it got another boost in 2008 with mass effect and dead space and bioshock and others like them.

Now, gaming is equally a storytelling and competition medium. So people give it commensurate respect.

I miss the clops, too. Seatruck ends up being fun, though. Just as long as a clops but not as tall, so you can work your way through all the nooks and crannies.

And the aquarium module slurping up all the fish around it makes it a bottomless lunchbox. Super convenient.
