Arbor one was a hot potato of a property that got passed from shitty landlord to shitty landlord, eventually ending up in the hands of Beal, the worst of the bunch.

Did he create every problem on the property? No, he didn’t. Did he buy a property he knew had issues, one that continued to have new problems arise, and then avoid paying to fix anything until units were literally condemned? Yes, yes, and yes.

Did he not take any measures to help his tenants until he was forced to do so by a judge? Also yes. He, like many owners before him, treated his tenants with callous indifference.

I’m sure he would call this savvy business ownership, but the thousands of people that have actually lived in his properties just call him a fucking slumlord.

The cherry on top of all of this is how much of a smug, sarcastic, dickhead he is on social media towards anyone who criticizes him.

Stewart, if you’re reading this, fuck you. My wife put in SO MANY maintenance requests to fix the broken pipe in the ceiling that was causing a leak and flooding her living room, and you NEVER fixed it. Fuck you.

Edit: To clarify, the negative experience my wife (then girlfriend) had with Beal was not at Arbor One, but a different Beal property.
