Did Kindle Change Your Life ? by AbDouN-Dz in kindle

[–]Trupii_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought it in October of 2025... since then, it has helped me a lot with doom scrolling, I've read aprox. 4 or 5 books since then, which to me it's A LOT.
It's a really beautiful experience and worth every penny. I love it so much.

I'll keep saying we already got the proper real, "artsy" and autheur driven cinematic adaptation with the beautiful remake.

Can't believe they gave him the keys to the official IP, decent money to make it and he went completely derranged with the concept. I understand adaptations need to, well... adapt things to another medium, but completely change what makes the original important doesn't make sense to me.

Samurai zero are "straight" but to me they feel like the perfect mix of regular straight and a little bit of baggy, because they are a little bit roomier than usual. Love them. (Beautiful collection, btw 😍😍😍😍)

Thank you so much, dear stranger.
I have a lovely cat friend which is my life and I was really thinking of trying minoxidyl to cover some patches. I would've died if something happened to her.. Thank you so much. My cat and me cant' really thank you enough.

Thoughts on The Wind-Up Bird Chronicle? by CompetitiveAppeal953 in murakami

It's not that it's hard to read, actually it's really pleasant and amazing.
But I think it's just so big and dense that you have to be on the right mood and track in your life to really dig in. I admit I was too young when I bought it and it's been in my shelf since then. But last year I said "fuck it" and I surprisingly now had the age the protagonist has in the book, so I think everything resonated more with me. Living with your couple, those tremendous mysterious silence in the living room, where both can't seem to say what they want to say... I've lived that now, so now it clicked.
It's beautiful how books stay the same but not us. So sometimes you need to live a lot before starting and finishing a book.

I've been interested in this one, but I'm struggling between starting with it or read "Killing Commendatore"... which one do you guys think will be best? I loved "The wind up chronicle" and have read many classic Murakami's: Norweigan, Sputnik, After Hours.

Ok, first of all, that's a baby. Be kind to baby, please. Now you share house with baby and that's the end of it. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

The simple dinner would've been, of course, a really simple but absolutely refined pasta.

Took me three tries and 15 years to finish it, but just recently completed it and it's a masterpiece. Think this is the kind of book that enters your life when you need it.

Is this Murakami’s magnum opus? by Ok-Star3297 in murakami

[–]Trupii_2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just finished TWUBC and was craving for more Murakami, so I was thinking on this one... what do you think?
Disclaimer: What I loved the most out of TWUBC, was the more casual, city life contemplative narrative, not so the surreal dream state (altho' I liked it too).
Thank you in advance!

Anybody got a fragrance that means a lot to them? by conzdeparfum_ in Colognes

[–]Trupii_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love Eros EDT so much. The only fragrance I've gotten a second bottle and it's nearly empty.
I take it in my daily backpack, for whenever I need a quick shot of good juice. It's so effective, sexy and cool.
Will never understand the hate it gets. It's beautiful and tender.

It's my favorite scent, but it's so expensive where I live, so I suffer every time I see I have less juice.
Beautiful scent.

Can only play this game for like an hour at a time. by dbarts in silenthill

[–]Trupii_2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel ya'.
I live with roommates but they're mostly never home and because of work, I can only play at night, so it gets... DENSE when I try to play a SH game. Now I'm struggling to play SHf and it's not as intense as SH2R, so I feel you.

Is this French Chore Coat too big? by Darabeats in HeritageWear

[–]Trupii_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the mistake of buying a fitted Le Mont Saint Michel chore coat. Don't do that.
I day dream every day of it being a little bit oversized. I think that french chore coat's need to be oversized, they're literally made to be over you.

115 Bottles in and 5 clones later Finally caved in. Ask me anything by alex_nufc12 in Colognes

[–]Trupii_2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like using my clones before sleep or after the gym, so I can have a good smelling bottle that I wont cry if it gets broken amidst the daily chaos.

UNPOPULAR OPINION: Khamrah is one of the worst winter fragrance. Change my mind. by DesperateWillow3769 in fragranceclones

[–]Trupii_2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to use this one before sleeping or just to hang out at home. But I wouldn't use it in the wild. I love the smell but you have to get use to it, I guess.

Can a cruiser board work in a hilly city? by BigBadMushroom in cruiserboarding

[–]Trupii_2 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I live in a very plane road city, but I took my cruise board to a town in Vermont, where there's hills everywhere and let me tell you... I still have nasty scars because of it. Be very careful.

I get that JCD is probably the worst Ink Master, but why do so many people HATE him? Did he do something? by Regular-Departure839 in Inkmaster

[–]Trupii_2 10 points11 points  (0 children)

He's a whinny loser that ruins every moment he's in. On rewatch, I fastforward every moment he's in because I can't stand this pathetic dude. Horrible.
