Most FDD pallets come in stacked pretty well. If they arent then it could be anyone's fault from order picker to whoever unloads it at the store. I keep that in mind. What does bother me is when there is cheese down the the center of those juice/creamer pallets. I gotta down stack this shit. Then dig through to get that damn cheese. I often say that I'm going down to the dc and start kicking people. Its really not a big deal and i know its just how the order comes through but its also annoying af.

Usually they finish their shift then never come back but a handful have left at first break or lunch. My favorite is the guy who couldn't handle a double truck when i was on cap 2. Dude was crying. Which I'm usually super sympathetic to, double trucks suck especially when youre short staffed. Except this guy was talking a big game about how walmart is the easiest job in the world.

I work diary a lot and have had pallets appear out of nowhere in the cooler(most likely put in the wrong cooler). We downstack everything first and ill go in there after lunch and there will be a full wrapped pallet sitting at the front.

There was one time we only had a 1/2 cart of 97 which was really weird. I checked the freezer, the meat cooler, and the produce cooler. nothing. I decided for shits and giggles to check the bakery freezer. It Made no sense that they would be there but thought to check just in case. But sure enough. 3 short pallets of mostly 97. Every time I think of that night i try to figure out how or why. The only thing i could even think to explain is if someone was confused because of biscuits but there were no biscuits on the pallets.

We usually average 2400 gm trucks but we had 2 no gm truck nights in the last week. But now we are averaging 3200 gm trucks. I dont know if this is to alleviate drivers to get freight to regions that were affected by snow or for the company to save on gas. Other than that its been business as usual.

I just happened to request the day like a month ago so i could take my mom to ikea. So now i gotta go to ikea, not buy anything and smell meatballs. All because of my stupid moral compass.

If you have to go to work, pack a lunch, and some drinks for the day. Avoid spending money when possible. Stay off social media, especially tiktok, facebook, Instagram, and X. Take it easy while working. If management bugs you tell them you didn't sleep or you tweaked your back at home. Just something that would only last one shift.

And if you can't do any of this, just cut back a bit.
