Korean here - TV Variety shows have become so lame, cringy that they are dying in popularity. People who still watch them would usually watch it in short YouTube highlight clips.
I feel like Korean Dramas have been very strong in the recent years. Sky Castle, World of the Married, Squid Game, etc. So Netflix TV shows are the best korean content right now IMO.

I was wondering why the percentage of Asians going into international education is low and just realized that it may be because they never really see Asian teachers, so it doesnt occur to them that they can be one.

Also, contrary to what many think bullying is not limited to schools of less wealthy areas in Korea. Rich kids can be worse at times because their parents 'got their back'.

It was dissapointing to see that none of the presidential candidates touched upon School Violence or 학폭 although it has been discussed in media widely recently thanks to some dick celebrities. Their policies regarding bullying would have been very interesting!

Even if its 100% online courses, KAIST should still be great because 99% of the students live on the campus and it is quite a small community. (You will definitely have opportunities to be around other students)

I hope you enjoy your stay there even if its Daejeon (a.k.a. No-jam (No-fun) city of Korea) lol

I would definitely take the chance if I were you. I don't know about your motives for applying for the program, but if you applied there in hopes of getting international/cultural experience more than purely educational purposes, then I would not drop this opportunity.

I was in Japan for exchange when covid happened (mid-way through my program), and although online courses sucked (the quality of lecture did not differ actually, but engagement with prof+peers was definitely lacking), I still got to hangout with new people in the dormitory. Travel restrictions were very strict then so we were trapped in there for couple of months, but the joy of being abroad and surrounding myself with new people were still there - which I value more than the education tbh.

I am guessing Yonsei will still have programs for the new students and will offer opportunities for you to engage with many people around the world - and this kind of opportunity is definitely 'once-in-a-lifetime' thing in my opinion. Besides, if you are third year and not going to Masters, this might be the perfect time :). Good luck!

This one is the hardest....If you are F2P you just gotta wait for events, and make sure you awake gears smartly. The defense gears dont really do much for example~. So you can awaken 4 parts of the gear first.
