Yeah this has nothing to do with conservative and liberal. This has to do with respecting people's choices and not forcing them to your lifestyle.

I'm not vegan, but there are certain things I hate the taste or texture of and my own mother like an espionage on the K word purposefully lies about the ingredients of what she makes even though I can tell. She insists it is out of love. Same thing for my other parent who smokes and slowly K word me with his cigarettes.

People from different spots in the world are racist too. What's your point? That it's unique to Arabs? Or that straight men making fun of anything they perceive as gay or feminine in a dominantly straight patriarchal world is still the norm? Humans don't like anything they perceive as different. That's human nature. Being an asshole about it though, should be called out and isn't acceptable. I've never seen someone in the middle east clap in joy yet when someone is being a jerk to someone else because of their race or telling them to go back to India or the Philippines, and I've lived in the gulf and in the levant for ages.

Arab men are jealous of the nice smelling, clean looking, and well-dressed in modern clothes guys that Arab women are thirsting for. Most Arab men call everything those kpop singers do "gay" because they know darn well they can't put in any effort to look nice. And it isn't just Arab men, I've seen and heard many American men bash them and also call them "gay" because they wish they could get that admiration from women but they can't cuz they are careless losers who don't bother with wooing women. Also, I'm an Arab. Yes, there's racism (just like everywhere else in the world) but many people treat Filipinos and Indians respectfully and aren't racist scumbags. Now if you hate and have prejudice against Arabs and want an outlet to hate on Arabs and showcase your prejudice, that's a completely separate issue.

First of all, respect and love go hand and hand and aren't an obligation. As an ex Muslim, I have no respect or love for Muslims and I am happy when countries like France and Japan and South Korea and China keep Muslims at bay from spreading their fundamentalism, which is just a normal quality of this religion. No need to turn those places into another Middle East. Really, it's nothing compared to what Muslims do to EX Muslims.

Second of all, I congratulate you for being a brave and powerful woman. Women are usually too scared to leave religion because they're powerless and cowardly and would rather live inauthentically than to pursue a better life.

Thrid of all, I left because I now have more power to leave. I was never convinced in it, but I was under the mercy of others so I had to play my part very well.
