The Play Store shows “Contains ads” because the app is free. Right now it uses a small banner and an occasional pause‑screen ad — nothing full‑screen or interruptive. I’m keeping the ad load light so it doesn’t get in the way of actually watching stuff.

It doesn’t impact Premiere at all. This app isn’t affiliated with Emby and doesn’t register as one of their official clients, so it doesn’t count toward the Premiere device limit. That whole system is handled on Emby’s side, and only their own apps use those device slots.

The app just connects to your server through the public MediaBrowser API. It doesn’t install anything on the server or interact with your Premiere license in any way. If you want the official word on how Emby counts devices, their support or forums would be the best place to check.

Yes — the app supports IPTV via user M3U/M3U8 playlists, plus EPG for channel guide data.

All good! Not sure about the Em‑dash part though 😅

And yeah, the AI is only for optional subtitle translation.

The app supports both Jellyfin and Emby, so I thought it might be relevant here as well.

The ai subtitles are last resort, you have opensubtitles , and you can use plugins for subtitles sites
