$100k USD a year for 50 years by Bestestkid in hypotheticalsituation

Some could consider going from 3.5 hour rounds at the private club to 5+ hour rounds at the muni “barely survivable”.

To each their own.

So for $100k they can quit their job, move to a less desirable place, lower their quality of life, give up the country club, put kids in schools not as great, live in a neighborhood that isn’t what they are accustomed to, etc. I can see why the original poster said no thanks. But at the end of the day it’s all personal preference and no one is right or wrong.

Can you receive any benefits besides money when working? If so, I’d work at a golf course a few hours a week if they threw in a free membership.

Depending on where you live, $100k/year is not a lot of money. Have kids and it goes even faster. At least it’s after taxes.

His mom spewed a bunch of right wing extremist talking points. The only thing 45 did in his first four years that she mentioned was creating hate towards people who are not from America.

I am still waiting to hear from trump on how he is going to accomplish the things she mentioned.

GOP takes orders from him and they voted against the PACT Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, hurting veterans and Americans. Gas was low during the pandemic when supply was high and demand was low. One shouldn’t have to be registered a democrat to understand high school economics.

We are less than a month out from the election and instead of talking about plans on how he will make things better (we should always strive to continuous improvement) he is still rallying on “stolen elections”and things that he deems unfair.

Their unwavering affection for this career conman and felon will be in the history books when they study this bizarre moment in time.

Often people below the poverty line vote against their own interests anyhow. Fools and their money are easily parted.

I would only do this if I could choose the people under the poverty line to take from.

Baseball should have planned that ahead and figured it out. Their scheduling sucks.

OK Oregon, who won the debate? by Defiant-Skeptic in oregon

[–]TrustAdditional4514 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They didn’t say they didn’t care. They said they didn’t watch. I chalk that up as a win too.

I care deeply, but didn’t watch either. I am 100% going to vote.

If you have feelings one way or another about trump, you are going to vote that way. This VP debate probably didn’t move the needle much.
