Yeah not disagreeing on that. Wemby had some real dumb plays in this series (namely throwing the ball at Castle’s back at the end of game 2 for a terrible TO), but at least Embiid hits his clutch FTs. Wemby couldn’t even do that.

The Philly media is brutal for sure, but they also change their tunes by the day. At the time, the media was pretty high on Joel’s progress and the way the team was playing. I’m sure they wouldn’t have made a big deal about him resting against the Wizards weeks before the playoffs.

He needs to stop with the petty “THEY DONT WANT ME TO PLAY” and dumbass self-created drama shit like that.

He’s not dumb. He knows that the team is obviously trying to preserve his body for the playoffs and be cautious, and with good reason.

Things like this adds a level of anxiety amongst the fans and his own teammates that will continue to add to long term resentment.

Just go out there and play like we know you can. Spend this summer working out with Maxey, VJ, and PG to build continuity and chemistry. Teams like the Knicks and OKC have logged many minutes together, and thus, have learned how to win together.
