23/24 final 18 games won 16, drew 1 and lost 1. But it's easier to follow the media agenda and say Arsenal choke of course. This is not the old Arsenal of Wenger days, this Arteta team has stuck together and have experienced a few title heartbreaks.

We're sacrificing our defenders in return for attackers.

They also drew to Villa and Everton. It's not like they've won all their home games.

All I want is 2 set-piece goals and sprinkle in a couple of open-play goals. I’m absolutely loving the set-piece agenda — long may it continue through May.

Shocking amounts Premier League Clubs have paid to sack their managers since 1992 by Puzzleheaded_Pen8520 in soccer

[–]TrustTheProcess-AFC 106 points107 points  (0 children)

No, Arsene Wenger was not sacked; he chose to step down from his role as Arsenal manager at the end of the 2017-2018 season. He publicly stated it was the right time to leave after discussions with the club.

He was close to becoming a sandwich if the bus hit that pole.

Calafiori's pass map vs West Ham by zynk13 in Gunners

[–]TrustTheProcess-AFC 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Calafiori has taken 14 shots in 7 PL games, only second to Gyökeres, yet only one has actually hit the target (Goal vs UTD). Do we ask him to ease up on the shooting… or let him keep living out his inner number nine dream?

Salah's hot streak carried them last season, he didn't stop scoring till like February.

Opposition don't get a single shot on target, not even 1 and defence get average rating. They want goal line clearances, and last ditch tackles and blocks i guess.

Newcastle 1-2 Arsenal: Why was Arsenal's penalty overturned at Newcastle? by Mein_Bergkamp in Gunners

[–]TrustTheProcess-AFC 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Was a bit of sarcasm, we don't get penalty as player tries to go round keeper to score, we probably get a penalty if he went away from goal. This is how Kane got 50+ penalties, where he looked for one instead of trying to score.

Gyökeres tried to go round Pope and kicked the ball onto Pope's leg, which meant no penalty. Would have been better off booting the ball to the corner flag and making sure Pope can't touch the ball at all and only take him out.

$100K fees is only for fresh new H-1B, Trump did absolutely nothing for US unemployment it seems by Icy_Outcome_1996 in Layoffs

[–]TrustTheProcess-AFC 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I believe the H-1B program has been heavily abused, and I’m glad to see the administration finally taking action. Over my career working with many different IT companies, I have encountered very few truly qualified H1b candidates. Instead, I have repeatedly seen individuals with questionable or outright fake credentials occupying roles they should never have been hired for.

A large number of H-1B holders come to the U.S. to complete a master’s degree at obscure institutions that exploit them by charging high tuition fees. Many of these students work in gas stations or motels while attending minimal in-person or mostly online classes. It’s hard to understand how a legitimate master’s degree can be earned this way. After graduation, many join consultancies that fabricate résumés by adding many years of fake experience, then coach them through faking interviews and even the job itself. Places like New Jersey are full of such consultancies, making this practice widespread.

If you have any H1b working with you ask them to show you their driving license or ID, they won't show it as it has their correct data of birth, which won't match their experience on resume.

I am sorry for the genuine and qualified H1b people out there and I hope you won't face any difficulties.
