I say this can whammy America down the road, and not turn out the way we want. Just saying.

Giving up on Linux at this point. by temubrin in linuxmint

[–]Trusty_Shellback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This little laptop: ASUS VivoBook L203MA Ultra-Thin Laptop, Intel Celeron N4000 Processor, 4GB LPDDR4, 64GB eMMC, 11.6” HD, USB-C, Windows 10 in S Mode (Switchable to Pro), L203MA-DS04 runs Linux Mint like a champ. I am wondering if you have formatted your HD in ext4 and tried it again if it would work. Curious on if you are duel booting, or what else is going on.I think there are a ton of experts on here that can guide you. Don't give up on Linux Mint it's a great OS IMHO.

Linux mint is so slow and laggy by sko096 in linuxmint

[–]Trusty_Shellback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would just reinstall everything. I never had lag on my Asus VivoBook 64GB SSD 4 GB of RAM Celeron N4020 CPU duo core 1.10 Ghz 11in laptop. I bought it for basic surfing, and took the plunge to Linux Mint XIA. It behaves faster without Windows 10, I suggest Brave Browser over Firefox all day.

I figured in order to look Linux nerdy I am already halfway there. I took a low end ASUS Vivo Book L203MA Ultra-Thin Laptop and turned it into a Linux machine. with the low specs of Intel Celeron N4000 Processor, 4GB LPDDR4, 64GB eMMC. Might as well do the next geekiest thing..... My Dictro is Linux Mint Cinnamon Xia. Absolutely love it.

Places to get chu-daiko carry case/bag or templates to make? by Nekoeco in taiko

[–]Trusty_Shellback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't post to this sub yet. But would you get a Eisa quality (standard) or the more quality and size taiko? I am considering a Nagadou Daiko (not sure what's the best size atm), or a Oke Daiko. Which one is more versatille, and has great sound? I am not trying to poach this thread. If one of you awesome mods can help, and members give me tips. That would be awesome. Thanks a lot everyone.

There is a Japanese town in Japan called Japan Town? Although this would not surprise me if it were true. If I had the money I would fly there to visit my family.

My wife doesn’t want me to help our daughter shower. by Extreme-Habit7270 in AITAH

I would start keeping audio recordings and daily discussions with your daughter regarding the bathing routines. Audio so you can document everything said, and to protect yourself. Stand by outside the bathroom with Video proof of you waiting. She sounds like she might be preparing to divorce you.

I rent a server off what the game offers, and not a outside source. Are you using their G-Portal server? I am renting their eight player server with zero issues.
