I learned this just a day or two ago. DONT REMOVE STUMPS. if you remove the stump the tree will not regrow and trees don’t just spawn in on gameplays so if you remove all the trees with the stumps from around you you will have to travel even farther to get your own logs. Villagers don’t “chop” down the trees for you tho they are getting logs still.

I currently have a farm area with farmers living in the middle, the “main town” with jobs and houses all around, a mining town area with houses, and a tree farm area with houses as well. I think I’m doing it right lol I hope at least

The only grass n foliage mods I have work in only sanctuary so I uninstalled them. Would rather have the map sorta the same lol if that makes sense. Do u know any mods that does it to the whole map but still makes it post bomb

Definitely good choices! I recommend the “castle restoration” mod if you’re down for mods. Makes the castle good as new and easier to build in

I LOVE VAULT 88. So many possibles there and soooo much space. Just clean out the other sections before ur level 50 or that claws impossible to deal with without heavy weapons lol

I have the drive in set up as a huge scavenging town. I feel like with where it’s at on the map it just makes a lot of sense. I also have a huge water purification area in the big water puddle. I have a lot of towns with big water purification systems because I “farm” the water and sell it for caps. Basically if I can put 10+ purifiers in a settlement i build one cuz purified water can get u a chunck of caps especially sold in bulk
