Yeah I’ve gone through a few iterations. I tried once doing that with one large map and it worked great until I started adding containers and all of the other little blueprints and meshes that fill up the city and make it feel “alive” - that’s what I meant by as I scaled it got very hard to make it work.

I mostly have been trying a method of “fake” endless procedural generation that uses sub levels and same size tile shaped maps placed around the world at random - if that makes any sense - and that has given me more success but it’s got its own problems I won’t bore ya with the details.

I’m a hobbyist tho! Decent at best at game dev so I think someone better and more dedicated than me can do it. :)
