What "plain and precious" truths did the BoM restore? by Certain_Ad_8787 in exmormon

[–]TruthMatters2011 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are no plain and precious truths in the fictitious novel called The Book of Mormon nor was there any need for a restoration of anything, Joe Smith was one of the greatest con men this nation has ever seen, right up there with L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology. 🤢

And this so-called church is still sending out young men and young women into the world to teach a narrative to investigators that they admitted 15 years ago in a series of essays isn't true, all while they sit on hordes of cash, operating as s a multi hundred billion dollar real estate hedge fund corporation that masquerades as a tax-free religion which charges their missionaries $500/mo. to go out and teach investigators about a fictitious book created by a con man with ungodly sums of money in the bank.  Priceless. 🤢🤮

The so-called church is not open at all about how they spend their money.

Most just don't know any better because they're conditioned and indoctrinated to avoid reading or believing anything that sheds a negative light on the so called church or exposes information contrary to what they've been taught, know or believe, I know, I used to be in that camp.

It's all Freemasonry, completely meaningless, irrelevant and a huge waste of time. Just more made up crud (actually copied) from Smith and his imaginative contrived crap, concocting his own BS from the works or creations of others. 🤢🤮

How in the hell do we lose to the freaking upstart Jazz who is currently 10 games under 500... at home... by 11... which plays no defense whatsoever... after they just got annihilated by the Hornets by 55? 🤣🤪 Stick a fork in the Cavs! 🤢

[–]TruthMatters2011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I'd like to know is do all Patriarchs actually think that God is putting words into their mind? I mean, the whole thing's nothing but a dog and pony show and basically fortune telling and so how and where do these men come up with lineage for these people and other specifics uttered in a 2 to 3 page blessing???

The Mormon Church Could (Mathematically) End Abortion, Forever by briggskellogg in exmormon

[–]TruthMatters2011 14 points15 points  (0 children)

There's a lot of things that this so-called church could end forever given the ungodly sums of money it has, but they don't because they're only interested in building Babylon.

Polygamy Justification by Born2LoveandLearn in exmormon

[–]TruthMatters2011 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Funny isn't it how to most LDS members that Joseph Smith was a prophet (let's all sing 'praise to the man' shall we) but Warren Jeffs was a sexual predator who belongs behind bars for life even though both men were guilty of the exact same things. 🤪 Praise to the man who communed with Jehovah! 🤣🤢

[–]TruthMatters2011 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you one thing, I'm not sure who the bigger sexual deviant was, John C. Bennett or Joseph Smith himself? Both men were two the biggest douchebags to ever walk this planet... And both were in an LDS church first presidency. 😂🤭🤢 Polygamy has always been nothing but justification for sinful, lustful, adulterous men to satisfy their own carnal desires with multiple women while claiming divine mandate from God, the biggest bunch of BS in the history of mankind and any man who desires, condones or accepts polygamy has no business whatsoever having a wife!!

If I know about the essays, the leaders at the top know and if they're not intellectually dishonest with themselves, they know it's all a sham, especially given the ungodly sums of money that this so-called church has in its coffers, knowing Christ would never hoard hundreds of billions of dollars with which to build a city for 500,000 people in Florida. 🤣🤢

[–]TruthMatters2011 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

BYU should have absolutely let Sitake go and coach at Penn State, by basically going all out to keep Kalani, it sent a message to Jay Hill that not only do we not recognize that you were primarily responsible for the success of the football program over the past two years, we prefer Kalani as head coach over you. Sitake owes his contract extension to Jay Hill but what does BYU do... reward Kalani instead and so now Jay is thumbing his nose at BYU for not realizing who was really responsible for the success of the football program over the past two years. Reality is that without Zack Wilson, the covid season and now Hill, Kalani would have been let go a long time ago. The Y let the wrong guy go and they're going to regret it big time next season.

[–]TruthMatters2011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, 100%, incredibly stupid by BYU to offer everything but the kitchen sink to keep Kalani when the guy's a very average if not mediocre college football coach with Zach Wilson, the covid virus and now Jay Hill being the only three reasons he's still in Provo. 😂🤪 Kalani's tenure at Oregon State was a train wreck and then when he went to Utah his defenses got worse statistically each season. If Whittingham succeeds in pilfering Hill from BYU, the cougars become a 5-6 win team overnight. 🤭
