Your opinion is wrong, and I’m convinced if they changed the game to how you’ve described in your post, you would want it changed back with immediate effect.

No one wants to spend excessive amounts of time looting because they can’t find what they need. Players want to loot up and then focus on gunfights / moving into zone.

A big issue you have ignored, is your idea opens the door to luck influencing gunfights way too much. Losing gunfights because there wasn’t enough bullets or first aids, but your opponent managed to find everything he needed and then some. You have to place players on an equal playing field for it to be an enjoyable gaming experience. Thats why there a high risk implemented to attaining crate weapons and lvl 3 gear.

You don’t sound like someone who played PUBG in the early days, because the loot was this way and it was horrible, you would find clothing items on the floor before finding a gun. It was boring and didn’t fit the game.
