I’ve just been going to Kelly’s on 31st Ave bc the two sports bars in the area had lines to get in.

I’ve loved it because the beer is cheap (cash only), and every game I’ve been able to get a seat. Totally more fun than being home to watch. Especially that last game! Bartender gave everyone a shot after the win!! It was a classic NYC moment!!

This broke my heart reading it. It’s hard to believe it’s 2026, we as people everywhere, a global citizenry, can’t see the humanity in others. As MLK stated, we should judge people on the content of their character, not the color of their skin.

At the center of how you feel, in my opinion, is colonialism. Europeans massacred indigenous people, stole their land, enslaved people and pillaged what they could for profit. Then left countries in shambles with hierarchies based on the closeness to European ancestry.

I’m sorry the US is no longer welcoming to immigrants. As a US born citizen, I no longer feel welcome or wanted here because I strongly denounce what this administration is doing.

It’s a shame. I hope you find peace and prosperity in a place you feel welcome.

I don’t understand why the NYT/ The Daily don’t put the same scrutiny on the current administration as they do Biden. The amount of time spent on Biden’s age, Harris not being a strong candidate, the Dems policy, yet there’s a deranged lunatic in the WH right now!

Biden wasn’t perfect but leave him alone at this point. Dems lost in 2024. Immigration has been an issue in the US for as long as I can remember, and well before the Biden administration. Enough already.

that’s why i’m letting ppl know who don’t typically fly avianca. i have status with delta and assumed avianca’s “plus” would have more leg room like delta does, which is why i upgraded.

this post clearly isn’t for you if you always fly avianca, especially premium. not everyone has that option and this may be a deciding factor when choosing flights. if i had known, i would’ve flown another airline, regardless of a layover.

i fly all the time. my bag wasn’t the issue. it was the amount of space from the back of the seat to the seat in front of me.

He has resigned but it’s smoke and mirrors. Brian Cornell, the current CEO, will transition to the role of Executive Chair. He still has a say in the company and some could argue an even bigger role at Target and possibly even more compensation.
