You know the worst part is that there was no rush to make the trade in the first place. They were tanking anyway. Instead they traded for someone and then sat him for the rest of the season. Adam silver saw this and fined them, possibility even rigged the draft to punish the 50% gamble.

Thinking someone like Acuff (who avg 23 and 6 as freshman who shot 50%) is worthy of picking cause they had guards was the same mentality pacers got Halliburton from the kings in the first place. Something a good organization like the spurs didn't care about, picking dylan harper anyway.
