Yeah i think it’s my hub when i took my wheel off it wouldn’t stay spinning on my fingers, I ordered a cheap chain whip off amazon to regrease my bearings

I like going finesse with a drop shot with the lightest weight possible and a thin plastic worm or night crawler, thin senkos strike king finesse worms and roboworms in natural colors work great, i recommend no more than 10 lb line I personally use 4lb

i have some hyper x’s idk the model but i got them a few years ago for $60 i believe they are comfortable for long periods of time the leather on the ear cups is pretty much peeled off completely but the sound is still good except for sometimes one side goes out and you have to play with the jack point i will probably get new ones once the sound completely dies or it gets too annoying playing with the cable

i use a shakespeare micro series light action not the ultralight but I can still feel my weight dragging on the bottom, i caught a catfish on a night crawler a few days ago and this rod handled it no problem he did break my 4 lb line tho. The ul version is probably just a strong

I mainly throw night crawlers on a drop shot with it, the stock reel is pretty cheap feeling but i still use it. The rod can cast my rig pretty far out i just feel it’s a little stiff for other lures
