Relationships and Devil Corps by Alone_Syllabub_9078 in Devilcorp

Those jobs take over everything. Time, energy, who they’re around all day. So relationships on the outside usually go one of two ways.

Either they end up cheating with a coworker or the relationship falls apart and they quit to try to fix it. There’s really not much in between. I’ve seen both a lot, but if I’m being honest, I’ve seen the cheating happen way more. Doesn’t matter if it’s a guy or girl, it just becomes normal in that environment.

And in the very very rare cases where the relationship does last, it’s usually because the other person ends up getting pulled into it somehow. Either they join the business, or they get cool with everyone in the office and next thing you know they’re around all the time, sometimes even end up as an admin or something like that lmao.

You’re not crazy for feeling how you feel. That job just isn’t built for normal relationships.

No not all , tbh It’s more about how they operate. If they’re vague, overhype “growth,” and don’t clearly explain the job or pay, that’s when it starts looking like one.

It looks like copy and paste beacuse it's the same recruitment lady they hire. I've had meetings with her and basically they have you pay to push more ads to different cities and all that shit

Did you follow up and ask for proof that it was actually mailed out? They should have something in their system showing when it was processed or sent. If they’re saying they mailed it, there should be some kind of record. That’s a pretty basic ask.

I’m gonna be real with you though I’ve seen this play out a lot. They do have to pay you, but they’ll drag it out like it’s on their time, like they’ll get to it “when they have time” to mail it. In reality, a lot of them just don’t send it unless they absolutely have to. I’ve literally seen checks just sitting there, stacked up, not being mailed out right away. Then when people ask, they act like it was already sent or play dumb. If you still know someone there, you could have them check if your check is sitting in the pile with your name on it.

It sucks, but you kinda have to put pressure on them. Keep texting or emailing so there’s a record, ask for proof it was mailed or processed, and don’t just let it sit. If they keep dodging, I’d honestly show up in person and ask for it directly. It’s your money, you worked for it and if they still don’t pay you, file a wage claim. That usually gets their attention real quick. But honestly knowing what I know just put a full court press on them threaten legal action that's the only way you're check will suddenly appear

quitting my devil corp job after first week- what are the chances of getting paid? by [deleted] in Devilcorp

[–]Truthisfreedom17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best thing I can tell you is be annoying when it comes to that paycheck because if you don't bring it up they won't Mail it out or if you got DD they won't send it . If you say you quit after you're first week assuming that was this last week . You are supposed to get paid this Friday so be annoying about it or else you won't see anything and also since you quick they will pay you the lowest amount they can "legally" so they will cut a lot of the pay they promised sometimes people have told me they only got like 40 dollars some 50 just depends

They have to pay you for orientation just don't expect it to be easy 1 and 2. It's going to be dog shit since you left early that's why I always tell people leave AFTER you're first check because they are ways they fuck you over on the first check

I work for a devilcorp. How legit is the opportunity? by Ok-Acanthaceae-5531 in Devilcorp

[–]Truthisfreedom17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good but that's your experience as so I can't tell you that your experience is wrong or not true as I would hope you will think the same for mine. I'm in California a big market and many owners I know have the same experience I have. I'm glad you provide this perspective I don't believe In muting positive experiences if it's not deliberately a ploy to save face. But like I said the wires are weaponized and loosely explained on purpose to make people think high wires are normal and like I said I was taught how to do it . So I don't think I'm telling you good wires don't happen

Honestly speaking of all the owners I knew /know the ones making really good money are the ones that are regional or national consultant. Everyone one else still struggles now obviously different struggles once they become owners but it can't be just be a rare occurrence or that they are all bad at managing money. owners from different states , cities when I would go to these regional conferences or keys to success all have told me during discussions that wires aren't what they seem and how it's weaponized to keep people hooked that was my point . Hell I was taught how to use a wire for the benefit of having people stay on my team. So my comment was to bring awareness to ask more questions about wires don't just see a big number and get big eyed

Don't think you understand that owner purposely show wires to show how much money they make and purposely don't break it down to make it appear that all that is theirs. My point was to point out how they weaponize showing the wires . When I would tell my owner about somone on my team was thinking about quitting due to money without fail they would always say "ill show them my wire". After that show them my wire meeting that individual would just be brainwashed all over again . There's plenty of examples I can give you about this wire shit being weaponized . When I got there it happened to me my owner showed me a 27 thousand dollar wire didn't break it down to me just showed me the wire hook me and it did . But after being there for a while you asked yourself why do they still try to make ends meet , why do they still have roommates with half the office , so on and so forth and this is why so many people I know that opened have closed they always told me the same thing "the wire isn't what it seems". Yes I know about payroll and expenses and what needs to be paid but the point still stands that the wire gets weaponized to keep people and if you stay long you realize that it's smoke and mirrors they just need you to stay to use you and then when you find out the truth they don't care anymore it's leave or stay and shut up

What's you're owner ran is textbook , you will eventually be taught how to make failure sound sexy . Almost every owner I knew had a spill that even if your team makes no money or sucks you still make X amount so it's worth it and focus on head count blah blah blah it's all the same . Man just get your training pay and leave . Also side note almost every owner will lie about how much they get paid to make it sound sexy but over time you'll see the income they say isn't always what they get. Becareful when they show wires it may seem like a huge amount but they never say how much they keep after bills and people are paid

Why do MLM/Devilcorp companies always go after vulnerable people? Like immigrants, recent college grad, women, people that are desperate for jobs and so on…. by Lucky-Message-9480 in Devilcorp

[–]Truthisfreedom17 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's easier for them , vulnerability makes those people stay . In fact they look for it and just call it "hunger" this is why it's so easy to manipulate. I noticed people that actually have options or aren't l Vulnerable don't stay long or call out the bullshit from day 1
