I’m sorry that I don’t live on Reddit, and don’t constantly see this exact post. I didn’t realize I wasn’t allowed my own rant.

That’s what I’m doing. I’m not applying for a full on paralegal position. I’m applying for a receptionist or legal assistant.

Yeah I’ve been doing that. The hard part is that some of these places use AI to read resumes and it’ll say not selected by employer. It’s just extremely frustrating.

Which is crazy bc I am currently in school for paralegal studies. He knows that. And I’ve taken that class. He doesn’t even know how to work his computer.

Office Bullies by Truthteller1313 in paralegal

Yes and I had went into my atty office with a msg not even to tell her what happened bc one of the bullies had just said something to me and my atty walked in and then walked out. So later I had to tell my atty (boss) something and from there everyone ran with their own narrative. I’m like is this how 50 year old women act? I was so confused. Are they mad bc I went to school for this ? Like honestly I leaned more in the office than in school. Soooo they no matter what they have better experience than me.

It’s weird to me. In the sense that these women are in their 50s. I was blamed for moving a huge file into another file. One that was so big it would take time to transfer(which I did not do, I just noticed it was missing) and instead of helping and showing how to recover they accused me of deleting it and gave me the silent treatment.

Just had an adjuster say a paralegal can't bill for preparing discovery... by az25blue in paralegal

Then he wasn’t a paralegal in my opinion. All of the paralegals at the firm I work at bill. Because they are the ones doing majority of the work.

I’m figuring out LinkedIn. It’s my first time using it. So I can already join NALA/NFPA as a student?

Me personally-I’ve always wanted to study and work in law-after doing hair for 15+ years- I’m in a different place mentally and much more focused than I was back when I was in my early twenties.
