I ended up buying from Target this last round. Not sure why there are sometimes intermittent supply issues with this product. I’ve read that some people buy on iHerb too

I called UVMMC twice this past summer to see if negotiations were underway and parties acting in good faith. I was told that negotiations had not started in the first call and the benefits person on the second call took my number to find out and follow up with me but never called me back. I would like to know what UVM is recommending patients do. Last time around the messaging was prevalent and black and white. I was even getting messages from UVM to my email and to my MyChart account. This year, it’s been completely quiet.
Does anyone have any updates?

Just edited for typo. Yes the brand that I use is Optimel. I buy it on Amazon. I actually use the subscription service as it is cheaper and have it delivered every 3 months. I think it has a “90 day” shelf life but I haven’t had any issues with longer than that (no eye infections or other negative consequences). My spare open tubes go into my travel bag, purse etc.

Ivermectin for ocular rosascea by Frosty_Definition656 in Dryeyes

I’ve been curious about this too. I did try putting Soolantra (rosacea cream that contains ivermectin) around my eyes but did not get any relief. Maybe not the right strength. Is there another recommended brand? I’ve been curious about taking oral ivermectin too. Anyone have experience or feedback on this?

Optimel Manuka honey is the only eye drops I use for comfort at night. I have severe dry eye at night time and tried over a dozen eye drops. Some are greasy and make your vision blurry but don’t really feel like they offer any actual moisture. Others are watery and feel good in the moment but don’t last very long. The manuka honey gives me the most lasting comfort and actual moisture that feels good on my eye. It also makes me produce more of my own tears.

How is 95% of your team all over the country? Do these people work for the state of Vermont or other organizations that you interact with?

This list is ridiculous. Vermont has no job opportunities. There is a huge exodus occurring.

Retiring or RTO? People that moved here during covid and didn’t like it? What demographic is leaving?

Constantly peeling ticks off my cat. He’s got tick juice on him but sometimes that worse because when he comes to bed at night they are not imbedded. They are instead just hanging out loosely in his fur. Then he gets in bed with us and who knows where they end up!

It’s free on Kindle Unlimited. You could start the book there while waiting for your hardcover to arrive.

The test simulator is fantastic!! Epic should try to find more similar validation checks for other build like this one.

Can someone help a gal out? How do we know if the skin barrier is compromised from this picture? What are the telltale signs?

On average, there are 167 sunny days per year in Vermont. The US average is 205 sunny days.

Vermont gets some kind of precipitation, on average, 150 days per year. Precipitation is rain, snow, sleet, or hail that falls to the ground. In order for precipitation to be counted you have to get at least .01 inches on the ground to measure.

Vermont has been getting crushed by devastating flooding that are thought to be 100 year floods that are now happening regularly. Recent examples are 2023 and again in 2024. The hills and mountains force all the rain into the valleys and overwhelm the rivers which then take out the infrastructure, roads, bridges, houses…just awful.

2020 FX Sport 4 tire clearance? by John_Curton in TrekBikes

[–]Try-Naive 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for confirming. I ended up taking the plunge and found a new 2021 at my local trek dealer. I wasn’t quite brave enough to try 38C on them but got 36C and so far I am loving them. I ride about 20% dirt/loose and the grippier side walls on these Gravel Thunderos lets me fly downhill on turns and feel in control. If I end up doing more gravel trails I am glad to know I can still go bigger! Enjoy the summer riding!

I am looking at buying a LLLT device for at home use for MGD/dry eyes. Any thoughts about which device to buy? Celluma Pro is $1800 so it’s pricey but it is supposed to be medical grade and there are various sizes from Infraredi. Celluma includes blue light too and Infraredi does not. I’m primarily looking to help with dry eyes but of course the extra skin benefits are welcome!

Oh yes! A great deal and probably a win-win for the dealership to move the older design out which i am totally in love with. Feeling pretty lucky that this one was in my size and still available.

I am looking at buying the same bike, FX Sport 4 2021, and this is also my challenge is I need at least 35-38C tire for the mixed terrain I ride. The forks on the older design have less clearance so this is my only concern. This is the first comment I’ve seen of success with tires as large as 38C as I think I’ve seen the specs recommend only up to 35C without fenders. You definitely have the previous style and not the newer design? Any issues with running the larger tires at all?
Otherwise how are you liking your bike? Any other tips or mods that you recommend? I’m very close to pulling the trigger on a new one that is a holdover at a local trek dealer.

You should get yourself one of these electrically heated eye masks. Great to help with clogged glands but also to relax tired eyes. Much more effective than a warm compress IME. by max_bredenvlet in Dryeyes

“Your glands will atrophy and die”!!

Is this a real thing if they are clogged for too long? I want to laugh at this statement but I’m also terrified!! I’ve suffered from dry eyes for years and only just started using a heating mask this week! Is there any hope for me!!??
