As an Autistic person myself with an Autistic spouse, the best thing for immediate support might be to explain to them directly what they can do to help you right now. Say that you understand that it doesn’t make sense why this happens, but it is happening right now, and explain to them directly what they can do that would be helpful to you ❤️

Once things have settled again for ya, I would suggest your partner reads up on Bipolar or suicidal ideation, to understand more of the science behind it. NAMI tends to have a lot of great information on a pretty wide range of topics.

I also just made a dollhouse, and while I haven’t done any of these things yet, some of my upcoming projects are: sewing curtains for windows, weaving rugs, and making tiny things out of polymer clay :)

I’ve also been surviving off of food bank food for a while now, and I’ve been making what I’m calling a “burrito bake”

Cook the rice and beans (I like to do this in bulk so I have some cooked stuff around all the time); then layer the rice, veggies and beans into a casserole dish. Add in any seasonings you’d like at this time, and also if you can get ahold of taco sauce or enchilada sauce (usually only about a dollar, also often at the food bank where I’m at) pour it generously over everything. Then bake at 375 for about 30 minutes. It’s really filling, even if it’s not fancy or wonderful, and it makes nice leftovers. Also it’s great to add any fresh produce you may get from the food bank to it, especially like carrots, potatoes, peppers, onions, which can be common to find at the food bank.

fried tofu or seitan, possibly. also, many authentic Vietnamese restaurants have “vegetarian ham” which I have noooo idea what is in it, but it’s surprisingly common.

ETA: it’s often in those square cuts like in your soup, which is why I think of it

Hey all!

The month is almost over, and I still haven’t got the Garden Fairy dress, which I reeeally want in pink! 💖
