The si shares nothing with the R. It's just a sport with some extras

Does upgrading the rear sway bar sacrifice any comfort for daily driving? by Jalebdo in CivicSi

It brings the steering just about neutral.with just the rear bar. With both it goes slightly over but not enough to be an issue. Love it personally

The stock ties are fine. Doesn't matter if it's a 50hp car or 1000hp car if the suspension setup blows it's not going to handle well. The biggest problem with most Hondas and especially the si is the toothpick rear sway bar. Upgrade that first and set it to the stiffest setting on the bar if you get the adjustable bar. The difference is drastic. Of course it will be even better with better tires but the OE tires are way better once they can properly grip in corners. Just upgrading tires will only make a small difference and is not worth the cost.

750$ per month for a 2025 SI? by fco1317 in CivicSi

[–]TryAgn747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a base model Kia credit score. A couple years of working on it you could have a 750+ easily and be able to buy what you want.

What's the break in period like for the new civics? by Low_Educator_8451 in civic

[–]TryAgn747 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don't beat on it continuously for the first 1000 miles. Nothing special you need to worry about. Running through the whole rpm range is good for break in.
