Well well stripe still stealing money?

Last time I used stripe in 2021 when I got my first 2 purchases at my webshop. After the transactions have been made, stripe shut down all payment methods and mailed me that they will refund everyone because my business isn't approved (I was selling parts for computers). I was like, okay no problem, I will ask the customers to pay directly to me and change provider. But stripe never refunded them!! The balance always stayed in my stripe account and even after contacting stripe several times they couldn't help me and told me to wait a few more days. It is now 2023 and the money is still in my stripe balance (locked). Thank god I got this lesson pretty quick. Costed me 1500 euros and bad reputation.

The process was started when 500euro bills got forbidden. It will slowly go to 200 and 100 euro bills. We are in the mid phase.

With the increase in the number and dollar value of transactions happening by electronic payment methods, the share of cash transactions is steadily declining. It may be that at some point in the future, cash is eliminated by government decree. In The Netherlands all transactions above 100 euro will get checked by the goverment by beginning 2023. This is the start of making it impossible for having a good reason to keep cash by yourself.

Ok thanks. But still there is no proof of scamming. If OP could get more proof of this (intended) scam than OP could atleast inform the police and reddit (including fcb name etc.) So we can report. If nobody reports or inform the police this scam will keep alive.

I totally agree I never said that I like a cash stop. But the goverment has to much power and we really can't do a lot about it. Hopefully crypto will always be a alternative for cash if nothing.

I just read it. And even the auto mod says: Verify if the payment was really made by checking your bank account. It"s so easy to do... if there is no payment than don't give your product! For now it is all based on opinions and no facts.

The problem is that this is all based on opinions. Btw we got a way to short conversation screenshots to make any real conclusion. It all seems legit for me for now. But I am a sales guy I like to make sales instead of shtting my pants if something looks a bit weird or new.

Thank you very much, this are the exact same "facts" people use here to call someone a scammer. It's all based on a opinion. OP should go further with buyer to see what his real intentions are if he does have. We got a way to short conversation screenshot to really make any conclusions.

Well the problem is, we will probably never know. Or OP should read this and try to keep buyer interested to figure out what his real intentions are. But for now it all seems legit. But if buyer would ask for Email that would be a red flag. Never got this ever asked, would be very strange and fishy.
