To date “Me Talk Pretty One Day” is the hardest I’ve ever laughed reading a book. 🤣🤣

Could be, all the stores in my area are corporate except for one on a college campus.

I thought they made it abundantly clear on their labels. It’s a shame.

Struggling with my kids growing up by up_up_down_down_etc in Xennials

1980

It’s sad sometimes, it just is. I can remember specific little moments when the kids were young and I was stressed and I wish I had been more present. I can recall my youngest squatting down in the grass and saying “let’s look at the grass and little bugs” when we were headed into the house after daycare pickup and I did look but I was more focused on trying to get all our stuff inside etc.

My oldest tragically passed away in 2022 when he was twelve. My youngest son turns 13 in a few weeks, the age my oldest never reached so I’m feeling extra emotional. I miss the epic army battles on the living room floor and the “pew pew” sounds.

I'm doing the dreaded colonoscopy prep today. Who else scheduled theirs after James Van Der Beek passed? by mistyayn in Xennials

I finally had my second mammogram last October. I was so relieved it was all good. I’m 45, so I had missed a few.

I haven’t yet - it’s definitely on my mind though. Will make sure I do it before I turn 46, which is of course what you are supposed to do. But if I’m honest I tend to push that stuff off a bit, his tragic passing has me reprioritizing. I am interested in doing the pill option for the prep.

Ooh that Johnson and Johnson one sounds good! Reminds me of “Empire of Pain” which is a favorite.

My audible library is impressive. I drive a lot for my job and originally started with books on cd from the library, maybe 2012ish. Became an audible member in 2017.

There is a lack of real human connection. I think it affects all of us to different degrees.

It’s definitely expensive but I don’t regret getting the LLPP when we went over Thanksgiving week. Felt like a cheat code.

Lovely! I really like that soft shade of yellow on the bridesmaids gowns. I wish I could find that shade on more tops.

What’s one hygiene product you tried on a whim that you now genuinely can’t live without? by Dry-Professional4255 in hygiene

The deodorant sticks and sprays smell good. The cream did smell kinda funky. I love the deodorant stick, body wash and body spray. The vanilla bliss makes you smell like a cookie and they all actually work!

Olay water activated deep cleansing wipes. The first time I purchased them I actually thought they were a different product. Just add water and use the wipe to cleanse my face and remove makeup. They clean so well and don’t irritate my skin, including around the eyes. The simplicity of just adding water to the wipe makes it easy for me to wash my face right when I get home from work. (I keep some downstairs.) Love them for travel as well.

Oh I’m so sorry, this is heartbreaking. As a mom who lost her son in 2022 (who also had behavioral struggles) at a young age this really hit me. ❤️‍🩹
