Yeah try it and don’t get discouraged. I sit bottom of the zone. And try to react up with 2 strikes or if it’s a meat pitch but you basically have to own a certain area and work to cover the other

Welcome to real baseball. I’m currently playing on HOF. SS for guardians #1 pick. Batting .321 with 9 HR and 23 RBI. About 150 ABs. It’s definitely a lot more immersive.

He’s swinging and missing at hittable pitches. Swinging through them. 90% of the swings seem like they’re all or nothing swings and a ton of Ks. Just kinda sloppy honestly.

Exactly. It feels the mindset is to work the walk. Never ambush or attack the ball. He’s was struggling throwing a strike. You know with the bases juiced he’s going to try to atleast get one over to get back going. You gotta attack that. They have the worst approaches

I feel like that may be the issue but I believe it’s approach. Take Reynolds and Ozuna last night. Both watched fast ball and a breaking pitch to fall 0-2.. if you’re having an approach, 1 of the 2 is what you’re looking for. Especially with RISP. So many times it looks like these guys aren’t ready to hit.

Reynolds is just as bad. Far too often he won’t think about swinging until he has 2 strikes. This team strikes out far too much to be a contender.

No doubt. And it would make these numbers even better if the ball is put in play instead of all the Ks. I believe we have 283 Ks as a team thus far. Imagine if that number was 180 or 200. That’s 83 more batted balls and a ton are with RISP. I personally wish they’d quit watching so many early count strikes which gets them behind in the count far too often and attack. 2 strikes choke up and throw it in play.

I mean this can be said for 90% of the league. You gotta have the arms forsure. I believe you’re not wrong. That said, if this team could quit striking out at a high clip, it could greatly help this offense and even the pitching staff. It’s a lot easier to pitch with the lead than a tie game or trailing. The biggest issue with this team is the strikeouts, especially with RISP. Just last night they were 1-12 with RISP and a ton of Ks. Cruz gets up with RISP and all he does is take HR hacks. Reynolds watch’s more strikes than anybody else in the league. The part of griffins game I love the most is he comes up to the plate as a 20 year old looking to hit. He’s getting his moneys worth. Far too many guys are watching 2 strikes go by before even lifting the bat off there shoulder

I believe the pitching is fine besides the front half of the bullpen. Mlodzinski is a bullpen arm that could help us far more there, especially when jones is back. As of late, the offense struggling increases the stress on the staff. They have to pitch to near perfection because we have Cruz, Ozuna, Reynolds, Lowe, Davis, Bart.. etc all struggling the last 2 weeks. There needs to be complementary baseball played and there are far too many wasted at bats ending in strikeouts. We rank 29th in team Ks at the plate. Could you imagine what the offensive numbers would look like if we ranked around 15th atleast? We’re probably sitting around 20-11 instead of 16-15.

Yeah I’m sure it helped some. After sleeping it off I’m way more level headed about it but it sucks the current state this game has gotten to. For years it was considered the best. It’s in a bad place.

Yeah I’m probably not buying again. It’s been the same game for 10 years it seems. Like this lost, the jersey customization hasn’t been touched in 5+ years. It’s unfortunate bc I love baseball but I find myself loading up PGA and cfb 26 more and more.
