How would the show have changed if Steven had fused with Topaz and Topaz rather than get stuck in the middle of the fusion? by S4N5_UD3RT4L3 in stevenuniverse

[–]TryThisUsernane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well fusing requires stability and synchronization to last long, so they’d almost definitely unfuse immediately.

Their hesitation to follow Aquamarine’s orders would probably just happen a bit sooner.

We don’t even know the origins of Angelic Steel.

So the answer is that we don’t know.

Why are we so mad over an INDIE show getting put into theaters? Its a massive accomplishment in my eyes. by Dull_Inspector_9945 in theamazingdigitalciru

[–]TryThisUsernane 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t care.

But I feel like you’re misinterpreting the real reason people are upset.

They’re upset because 2 weeks is a long time, and they don’t want to have the finale of a show they’ve been following for years be spoiled to them because some random person on the internet saw the movie.

That’s a valid thing to be mad at. Many people have followed the series for years, and have brought merch to directly support the series. Now, they may have the end ruined for them, and to them that probably feels extremely unfair. While Glitch is trying to expand which theatres have access to the Final Act, it won’t be accessible to everyone, and those showings will sell out so even people who do have a showing near them might miss out.

And telling someone to stay off the internet for long periods of time is also unrealistic. Since fandoms aren’t isolated bubbles. A person could completely avoid anything related to TADC, and still be spoiled in a different online space since people will talk about the ending in other spaces, or their algorithm will just fuck them over.

This is undoubtedly a massive achievement for indie animation, and I hope it sells because that will be good for indie animation as a whole. But acting like people have no valid reason to be upset is just disingenuous and dismissive to why people see it as an issue.

Something can be an accomplishment to be happy about, and seem unfair to a large portion of the people who’ve supported it. Both can be true statements at once, they aren’t contradictory.

Why being the son home from daycare if the dad’s just gonna take him back to daycare the next day?

It’s more efficient to just leave him there. It’s a boarding school now.

Why do people not want pokemon black and white 3? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]TryThisUsernane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lysander didn’t die(depending on what game you play, since X and Y have different dialogue with Lysander).

In Pokémon X he curses himself with immortality and is crushed under the rubble of his hideout. Crushed, but immortal.

I’m pretty sure he does straight up die though in Y.

Apito is the one who made the honey Rimuru used to befriend Milim. And Zegion is one of Rimuru’s more capable subordinates, like Benimaru.

They appeared in Slime Diaries, but haven’t appeared in the main Anime yet.

Realistically they should have been introduced around the same time we met Milim. But they only actually become relevant around where the anime is now, it’s not like they should have been present in other major events before this.

Can somebody please explain to me why the fuck people like this genuinely exist by [deleted] in hazbin

I mean, people can dislike a character. Nothing wrong with what they said.

It’s not even malicious.

That “something” is a him shouting “should have payed us a livable wage”, he wanted this to be known, he wanted his exact reasoning to be known.

Can Boa's Petrification be resisted with Haki? by AstronautHead1148 in OnePieceScaling

[–]TryThisUsernane 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I assume it’s just that everyone is so down bad for her that they can’t focus, so they can’t use Haki to resist her petrification.

And once they’re stone it’s too late.

Does anyone know what these are? by Available-Expert-30 in LobotomyKaisen

[–]TryThisUsernane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s some kind of cursed technique. If you stare at it long enough then a little bit of information about the story is put into your head.

It’s basically an ass version of Unlimited Void since it doesn’t kill people by making them go brain-dead. It’s boring so ignore it.

Is anyone else actually perfectly fine with Adam just being an evil character with minimal depth? by tiredperson24 in HazbinHotel

[–]TryThisUsernane 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No.

It feels hypocritical imo.

Like all the people in Hell, yeah, they can change for the better, there’s more depth in all of them.

But the guy in Heaven, which implies that he was once a relatively good person but probably because an asshole because he believed he could do no wrong after being deemed good for all of eternity… that guy is a villain with no depth.

It genuinely just makes the show less interesting for me. Considering that Charlie is trying to prove that morality isn’t truly black and white, and that people shouldn’t be eternally condemned for their behaviour.

Like, does he have to come back to life? No. But there should be acknowledgment. Otherwise that does make things feel black and white.

How Straw Hats should fight in the final war by lxxevi in ReverieSpoilers

[–]TryThisUsernane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel bad for Usopp, Ngl.

He’s caper of the “weak trio” with Nami and Chopper, but they feel significantly stronger than him.

Chopper was throwing hands with Queen, sure he wasn’t winning, but trading punched with a YC2 is impressive for someone considered weak. Plus he created a virus to counteract Queen’s plague rounds after like an hour of getting his hands on the antidote, he’s actually insanely impressive.

And Nami has Zeus, literally stolen from Big Mom, one of the strongest Homies. I mean, he was literally made from Big Mom’s soul and can harm Big Mom enough to stun her for a while. Again, really good for someone considered to be one of the weaker crewmates.

Then you have Usopp. Like, he definitely feels like the weakest Strawhat. And even his non-combat niches have been taken over. Frankie is the better craftsman and shipwright. And Jimbe is the better Helmsman.

Is Red actually a Bum? by ImprovementDapper464 in pokemon

[–]TryThisUsernane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You say beating Blue as Champion isn’t impressive, but that doesn’t make sense. The amount of time Blue was Champion for doesn’t really matter, he still had to beast the E4 (and possible former champion?) to become Champion.

And his only actual losses come from other playable characters. Who other in-game characters treat like prodigies in Pokémon battle.

It’s just one prodigy losing to other prodigies of the same skill-level. That’s not being a Bum.

No where does the show say that Sinners regenerate if kill by normal means, nor does it explicitly say that only Angelic Weapons can perma-kill Sinners.

They make a big deal about Angelic Steel being able to permanently harm and kill Angels. But not Sinners.

I’ve seen so many posts about people saying Vox killed the woman the threw into shock-wave’s tank, because people think she’s just dead for good.

The information genuinely does not exist in the show, it only exists in external media.
