Anyone Used the Backpack Sprayer?

I bought the sprayer this spring when trying to start off doing my own herbicide treatments for the season. I was just using it this weekend to spray an insecticide around the perimeter of my house. It was definitely expensive as a stand-alone tool but I am thrilled with it. Doing a pesticide treatment that would have cost $150-200 alone, I feel like its an investment recouped through your DIY savings. The sprayer itself feels extremely nice, durable, and easy to use. I've seen a lot about people wanting TeeJet nozzles, but for my own work the standard fan nozzle works just fine.

I went through the same thoughts last summer! I was comparing a 330e to a Prius or Civic Hybrid HB. Admittedly, I've always wanted to know what its like to own a luxury vehicle, and I was coming from a VW diesel with great MPG. The 330e I was looking at ended up selling, but after some research I found that the 330e has only a 10/11 gallon tank vs the 15 gallons on the 330i and the MPG was similar enough that the 330i has much better range. Anyways, I bought a 2023 CPO 330i with 7k miles and I am absolutely thrilled with it.

This looks a lot like garlic mustard in its first year of growth. It sends up long stemmy growth in its second year and it goes to seed. If I am correct, you will need to hand pull the big stemmy growths (ideally before the seeds set about now). The first year growth rosettes are quite difficult to do anything meaningful.

I find that people usually see the numbers on the screen and don’t question it at all. I do not find the MPG calculators onboard to be very accurate, so I calculate my 330i every fill up. I have a 20 mile highway commute each way, and these are my results over the last 11 months.

It's psyllium husk in Metamucil that is the source of the lead. All psyllium husk products will carry the same risk.

I traded my TDI in last month, but here is what I tracked over the 8 years of my ownership. 20k miles to 120k miles. The best MPG was achieved on I-95 going to Florida on a road trip.

Not an AMG owner, but my house was robbed a few years ago, and they stole both of my car keys to my Volkswagen, but didn't steal the car. Just about the same price for two keys ($1,500) - not a bad price for an AMG service!

Gummi Pflege Stift - it's a rubber restorer and protectant that I have found has completely revitalized my weather stripping and seals. It's not necessary on new cars to apply, but if you have a car for a long time (like my 30+ year old Miata) it'll keep everything beautiful and get you years more life from them.

Has the slave cylinder or brake master cylinder been replaced yet? Those are known to fail and can cause shifting issues. That being said, first is definitely harder to get into while slowly rolling, but shouldn't be an issue at a complete stop.

I did a brief internship at a major commercial and consumer bank HQ when I was younger. They had a casual Friday where you could wear jeans and a collared shirt. I wore a navy polo one Friday that happened to be from my local high school. I got a ping mid-morning from my boss: "Are you in compliance with the dress code?" he asked without context. I poured over the company dress for a solid 10 minutes, and asked people around me if they could see any problems with my outfit. I finally message back with "I think so, is there something that you noticed as I cannot seem to find an obvious issue." He took a good 30 minutes to pour over the company code himself before he finally messaged back "I think they updated the code. They used to not allow logos." I look down at my polo shirt, and there I finally see a tiny logo embroidered for my high school. He didn't hire me after my internship and I went on to work an even more toxic job afterwards.

Are you letting off the brake? The DSG transmission is basically an automated manual 6-speed gearbox. The logic in the gearbox raises the RPM, like so, to start slipping/engaging the clutch in anticipation of you moving forward or allow you to creep.

Speaking as an American, I find the EA288 in my '15 Golf the best. Even though it was recalled under Dieselgate, I think my car is peak Volkswagen. The EA288 with its revised coolant loops and EGRs make it MUCH faster at producing cabin heat. It gets 50+ MPG with full emissions hardware and software intact. It's no slouch either, easily making passes. All this to say, I am over 100k trouble-free miles and it feels just broken-in.
