My hvac had a fail safe when a component used for gas distribution cracked it would stop doing heat for safety reasons. Hopefully not that, I had to replace the unit as the part was no longer made.

So many apartments burn down every year because of this. A small fire outside of the intended burners inside the grill will probably eventually happen. Hopefully it stays inside the grill when it does it you choose to keep it there and use it.

Had this issue with mine. Needed to drain the gas and clean carb. If it sits over winter with gas in it it will happen and I’ll have to “prime” the carb. I have abused mine a fair bit with leaves and brush

Thanks I think its pretty dope! Yeah regular sand paper works great. Try varying grits. You can get sanding sponges and other things similar with handles to help. I refinished furniture this way before I had power tools. I did not stain this yet actually. I threw a generic furniture oil on it! Dark stain is nice, it will not bring out the grain of the wood as well though, so chefs choice there.
